Hey guys! Lord Haakon here! I'm wanted to share with you guys my Ideal Destiny 2 with no limits. I'm throwing engine limitations out the window basically, and I'm throwing in what I would want personally in Destiny 2. What I'm going to do is subject to being in Parts. Story, World Building, and Mechanics, etc. Let's Start. Part 1: World Building I know that there are multiple worlds as we have the whole solar system to explore, however what I'm setting up is what is going on in the Universe and certain events. My Ideal Destiny 2 takes place about 5 years after Rise of Iron. The Humans are quite few actually, most of Humanity are Exos unless I'm wrong (then I'm sorry) but they've had time to regrow a bit in population and now some of them are moving out to the Reef. The City has stayed the same but outside of it there are Outposts, Towns, Safe Havens, etc. Each has there own Fireteam of Guardians. In the Five years that Humanity has had, it has cleaned up its Colonies. Earth, the Moon, and Mars have been cleaned up. The Splicer's Den in the Cosmodrone was destroyed along with the Hellmouth and the passage to Crota's End was sealed off. Cabal Bases on Phobos and Mars are now inhabited by Guardians. The Hive have fled the Moon with no one to lead them and have taken up residence on Venus. The Cabal of Mars and Phobos have been wiped out and what remained fled the system four years ago. The Vex are still around and are now at war with a small sect of Hive from the Moon. The Fallen are still kicking around and they have started a War among themselves. The House of Kings has come out of the shadows but they are too fast for the Guardian's of the City. Along with that, the House of Winter is regaining strength on Venus, and the House of Exiles have joined up with the House of Wolves. With the Defeat of Aksis, the Devils have found new leadership in the Kings. Rasputin is not an official ally of the City but he continues to act like one. What SIVA was left, he took from the Splicers. Rasputin has also set up multiple bunkers along the City's borders. The Taken have retreated to the Dreadnaught entirely and they pose no immediate threat. The Reef has turned into a Kingdom now instead of still being a Junkyard. It has its own Towns, a City, and is even more powerful than before. The Outer Planets are basically the same as they were before. Lord Saladin and the Guardian have rebuilt the Iron Lords. The Order now expands across twelve including Lord Saladin and The Guardian. (If I missed anything, please tell me) Part 2: Mechanics To be specific I mean activities. Raids, Strikes, Missions, etc. Patrol Areas have more to offer in terms of stuff and they are where you would be spending most of your time. Patrol Events are now world wide and will drop rewards according to your level. Not to mention that they will be bigger in scope and size. One Fallen Walker will turn into three. That Huge Ketch in the sky? That turns into a full Invasion in different parts of the Patrol map. Enemies can also set Bounties on you if you kill enough of them without dying. Patrol Missions now get upgraded to the current status of Patrol Events, just a little bit bigger. Enemies will follow you across the map, not being scripted to just one area. Weather will be added to each Planet, allowing for Thunderstorms, Sunrays, etc. Story Missions: These missions are now riddled across the Patrol Map instead of a menu. There will be Towns and Outposts that have Quest Givers and Bounty Boards in which you can obtain objectives. Actual Story Missions have Quest Markers leading to them, and are also in the open world, however there are requirements. Be a certain level. There are only 1-2 Story missions per world as I also wanted explore the Jovians. Story Missions are now at least 30 minutes in length and go through areas that are not in the Patrol Open World. Strikes: Strikes are now in numbers, allowing for more content to be in said game. Strikes are offering more extreme and unique encounters throughout its entirety. There will be at least Five strikes per planet. There will be Strike Specific loot but chances of gaining said loot can be increased by completing Challenges in a Strike. Ex: Don't die more than once. (Fireteam has one life and then any of them cannot be killed otherwise they get no bonus) Raids: I love Raids in Destiny. My Ideal Raiding experience is the cinematic part of it. You know when the Death Zamboni slid off the edge of the wall? That was awesome! Or when Oryx slowly floated into Saturn. Raids now offer a variety of Challenges other than Bullet Sponges. Despite being the worst raid, CE has lots of cool concepts which lets it differ from the others. To unlock the front door you might have to enter in a combination, or run a circuit to progress. To defeat the final boss in a raid is to either go big or go home. Kings Fall did that with Oryx's intimidating appearance (at first). Classes: I think Destiny needs more Variety in its Class system. There basically is only one class which is the Guardian, and it's subclasses are Hunter, Titan, and Warlock. I want there to be several Subclasses, Six at the maximum and Four at the least. Guardian Warlock Voidwalker (Tank) Sunsinger (Healer) Stormcaller (ADS) Soultaker (Assassin) Guardian Hunter Gunslinger (ADS) Nightstalker (Healer) Bladedancer (Assassin) Cryptrunner (Tank) Guardian Titan Striker (ADS) Defender (Tank) Sunbreaker (Assassin) Lifebearer (Healer... sorry for generic name) Assassin - High Speed and Damage but no Armor. Tank - High Armor and moderate Damage, Low speed. Healer - High Speed and moderate Armor, low Damage. ADS - High Damage, moderate speed and armor. At least with this you aren't the Jack of all Trades, Master of All. You are one or the other. Crucible: Everything except Trials will not change. Trials is still Flawless wins to go Flawless. But you can bet on your own games with five passage coins. If you go flawless and you bet on all Nine Games for you to win, you might triple your Lighthouse rewards, however after betting, you will be given a debuff that will affect you for that game. Solar Damage might be the popular damage type for that match but you would be on the receiving end. If you win, Bounty points are doubled until the end of the next match, and you have a chance to gain a Legendary reward. Tower: The Tower now has Bounty Boards, Taverns, and games. You could play Space Magic Blackjack and beat out Shaxx who has been playing the game for six hours straight and watch him rage as he says "I AM THE CRUCIBLE!!!". Of course since the dealer is Cayde-6, he cheats and screws up Shaxx's cards, making Shaxx even more angry. Glimmer has a larger cap and is used to buy Weapon and Armor Blueprints and is also used for Transmogrification, Customizing Armor, Ships, Weapons, Emblems, Shades, etc. PvP Zones: I honestly think that Bungie could pull off a good Dark Zone styled PvP Zone for Destiny. Take that huge City on Venus and fight to the death. There will be leveled Enemies, Patrol Quests, and Dungeons, and much more.
