Yes my stats show I'm far below an average pvp player and I've accepted that and have been focusing pretty much all my destiny time in the crucible to attempt to "get gud". Been chasing certain weapons with certain rolls and expanding my weapon usage to those I wouldn't usually turn to simply because of the way everything gets nerfed. My two problems with the crucible are as follows. Matchmaking and weapon/subclass balance. I Hope I speak on behalf of the destiny gamers that aren't already good but the matchmaking is terrible. Now I know trials and the Lighthouse is for the "elite" players or the more skilled players to enjoy but I can't help myself trying to get into games purely because I love the concept of elimination games. However because my stats show I'm not good I have to resort to playing with teams that aren't good either. All below 1.0 k/d we venture into our first game. Spanked. Second game, spanked. Third game - card reset. By this point team mates give up etc. Why does this game not put us against people at a similar skill level? How can one improve if we are facing 2.0's every game. Even in elimination rarely do I come across a team that seems a fair match. It's usually three try hards practising for trials. Do I just rule out the 3v3 game mode altogether then. Lastly when people at my level finally start adapting to a certain weapon it class to keep up with the changing times, it gets nerfed to the core of the earth. Would just be nice to have a bit of matchmaking balance to make the crucible a bit more enjoyable rather then getting melted every game. Haters gonna hate but just voicing the frustration of the below average gamers that still want to try enjoy every aspect of this game.
