Include Meta Reset to a year one Standard w/March expansion. Open discussion
Y'all can call me an idiot, but since most of you weren't there, you wouldn't know it's the best meta the game has ever seen. Before you tar and feather me, allow me to explain.
-doing so makes autos great.
-Thorn would not be dominating, it was trash back then.
-Supers would be significantly better.
Honestly though I could nit pick and list every dang thing it would make better but I'm just going to list the main concerns that are irrelevant.
It would make PVP more fun.
If you want a streamer and YouTubers opinion.
I've talked with
1. NKuch
2. Sirdemetrious
3. Triplewreck
4. Luminosity
5. She snaps
6. Drlupo
And many more and they say they'd have year one back in a heartbeat. No second opinion, they say they'd have it back without delay.
I would love as well as them to end destiny 1 on a good note of a good meta and fun and enjoyable crucible.
Please take this to mind as well:

Keep in mind, Thorn wouldn't be op, neither would Suros, nor shotguns since shot package is no longer available, fusion rifles would be great as well as pulses and scouts.
Honestly answer, you're not happy with this meta and state of the game. Heck they're buffing Blink back to year one, why not the rest.
-Liking- makes this post get up in the top for Bungie to read and chew on.
-Comments- doesn't the same as above. Please like and Comment to make Bungie see this. I want and so do many others to have this be a reality.

I don't want thorn and TLW meta back either. Sure it was fun and easy. I was going flawless 3 times every weekend without ever using a mercy back then. Bungie isn't going to do any reversing everything back. It's not that easy and, I'd rather have them focusing on D2. We will get the year 1 raids back in the spring update for another nostalgia ride before D2 hype starts coming. Let's just get this game over with already. I forgot to mention that primary weapons TTK hasn't changed very much, if at all since year 1. Sure there are some exceptions but, overall not much change.

Thorn was trash back then ? Lol. Gimme the drugs your on, please! I need them.. I guess you didn't year one Thorn. I distinctively remember 2 shotting enemies in the head, across a map, waving to them, & running to the next victim while they burnt out..

6 RepliesDude nlb was always a great weapon people just weren't practiced with it back then and other snipers were too strong. This meta is very balanced except for a few needed tweaks to special. A sniper that does not flinch is op in the right hands.

2 RepliesYou also seem to forget that year one wasn't balanced and beyond broken, yes we were powerful and it was fun. Also not you or anyone in the community can predict that going back to year one would be best for the majority. One thing bungie can't control is the community and what we have learnt from playing this game for three years.

1 ReplyStreamers don't make your argument stronger in my view. But you are right. Year One power levels would FIX the power imbalance between primary weapons and special/OHK weapons that have plagued this game for the last two years. It would be a simple matter to balance the game around that TTK. The only problem is that you'd wind up with a game that plays significantly faster (but nore naturally and fluidly) than Bungie clearly wants.....and many of the Halo fan boys clearly want. The Legacy of Halo is the Elephant in the Room. No one (except me and a few others) dare to talk about it....but EVERY game tuning decision in The Crucible clearly walks AROUND the damn thing. The desire to recreate Halo and the feel of its game play is driving the bus here....and driving the Crucible into a ditch.

2 RepliesI don't play Destiny anymore, but the only problem I see with that is that Pulse Rifles would be terrible. They never got used at the start of the game. I'll probably come back when Destiny 2 releases, but other than that, I don't see myself playing no matter what changes come.[spoiler][i]Nerf Fusion Rifles.[/i][/spoiler][spoiler]Sorry.
