I am not meant to play crucible today.
Oh my lord. 7 games.. only 7 games of clash and I've done so shit every single game. On my first clash game, I got 20 assist. 20! Just the first game alone! the rest of the games I just went negative and even more negatives. .6-.7 most the game, one game I even went .2 and just quit half way through I was about to lose it. I have not had such a bad streak, not just a losing streak but just a bad crucible streak in general in so long. Anybody ever have moments like this?

I have games like that a lot. But then I usually have a few nasty runs that equal it all out.

That sums up my Destiny life. Only difference is I will start well and then after the first couple of matches, multuple assists and like 4 kills.

Happens to me all the time!! One day I finish all my matches in positive with most of them with 20 something kills and the next day (like yesterday for me) all negative games... just playing like trash no matter what class/Subclass, build or weapon I use... So, don't sweat it, just acknowledge is one of those day and just have fun... And don't worry about your kd ; you will recuperate it on your good days!

When it gets that bad just pull out your ice cream cone and start running. See how long you can stay alive. When you know your going to die, do it with style.

1 ReplyIt's not entirely you. I've noticed that the lag and or damage referee can affect your individual performance. It's 3 headshots with a pulse for a kill but sometimes it takes 4 and when the lag is bad sometimes 5. Couple that with the damage referee and everybody is two tapping you no matter what gun they're using. Guess what? Kills are hard to come by. You'll get plenty of assists but end up losing most of your 1v1s. The only solution I've found when this BS is occurring is to switch characters. That tends to get things working normally again. Always remember you're playing a broken game.

I feel you dude. Sometimes for one or two games I'm just on fire and then BAM! I just suck. No matter what gun I use, what subclass I pick, all that stuff.

I run through this same situation. I think they have started a new version of cbmm with a tad bit stronger sbmm. It seems like it rotates with me. I have 6 or 7 games where I absolutely wreck people then 6 or 7 game where I could kill myself standing in a puddle (y1 players will get that). I still have fun though

Same, But, it's because I play once a week so I forget how to play properly lol, I go negative every 3-5 games then I start going positive.

I rarely go negative but I definitely loose in streaks an win in streaks also

Same happens to me. Some games it seems like I can't miss. Others I'm left wondering how the hell that didn't kill them.

6 RepliesI always seem to have runs where I am 1.00- 3.00 k/d for 7 or so games. Then I drop to 0.2 - 0.7 for a load of games. I can't explain it but it is a pretty constant pattern. It is infuriating since all I am trying to do now in the crucible is arbitrarily get all my characters to a positive kd.

10 RepliesThis is by design in this game. It's 100% by design. Ever play one match and everything is normal and then the next everything is a step behind? Shots don't land anymore, you're one half second off the enemy players, and the movement overall is sluggish? By design. "Working as intended"

9 RepliesI don't believe you. You didn't once blame connection, sidearms, sbmm, or other players in your post. It almost sounded like you were taking responsibility for being bad over those games, which I clearly just misunderstood. For the record though, this happens to me more often than I will admit...I actually have the reverse problem. When I hit a good streak, I quit playing for awhile. Too good to be true kinda thing, better to get out feeling good rather than crashing back to reality too soon.

Every two days man. You do decent or good for 2 days then the game throws a crap streak of bad games the 3rd sometimes the 4th day. Then all of a sudden your good again. I tried to peg it to player trends thinking its like a certain day of the week that's harder but its not this. Some Sundays I'll play stellar and feel like I can't miss a shot others I feel like all aim assist on my guns is gone and hand cannon bloom (even since the hotfix) is playing against me on my initial shots. All in all it may be the rng of the player base we face at consistent moments but it's confusing none the less.

Especially when I'm going in solo but the other team has a premade 6 man fireteam that stomps over us( most of the time I do well against PUGS and there are sometimes I'm the carry of the team) yesterday I really had a shitty game with .22 k/d that I just shut off the game. Sometimes you Ave to disconnect to get your marbles back and try again.

It was clash. If it were the daily there'd be a larger pool of players to match with. Seeing as its not, you'll only be matched with tryhards who like to complete the weekly shaxx bounty.
