No they've got a multitude of exclusives slated for the next three years. The only major exclusive they're releasing now is Horizon. Nioh was not expected to be as critically acclaimed or as popular as it ended up being and Nier Automata is a smaller title as well. They still have Days Gone, Detroit, God of War, Death Stranding, Spider Man, and The Last of Us Part 2 coming in the next three years, and that's just what's already been announced.

  • Gravity Rush 2 & Nioh are AAA games because it took AAA development to make them. Also, not to mention both are $60 just as Horizon Zero Dawn. All I'm saying is I think it would've been better for them to space out these exclusives throughout the year. However, I concluded they did this because Nintendo is releasing a new system and Nintendo exclusive soon (this week) & Sony releasing all their exclusives keep the Playstation name relevant (:

Well Horizon was supposed to come out in the Fall 2016, but got pushed back. If that had happened the early 2017 exclusives would have been spread out over 4 months where not much comes out. Gravity Rush in December Resident Evil VR in Janurary (even though RE itslf isnt a ps4 exclusive), Nioh in early February, then Nier Automata in early March before Mass Effect and all the big spring games. I don't think Sony is the least bit worried about Nintendo or Microsoft right now. The ps4 has sold 55 million units, Xbox one is only at 28ish million sold. And the Switch is an untested entity so there's no reason to worry about it now. Besides E3 will tell us what's happening in the fall with Scorpio, Switch, and the other ps4 exclusives.
