Cryptic Dragon God Roll?
Hey! I just recently picked up a Cryptic Dragon from endgame in the Crucible. I fully-leveled it and it has Red-Dot OAS (One of my favourite on a Scout) Crowd Control, High Cal/Hand Laid Stock/Custom Optics, Reactive Reload. Any opinions on it? I'm rocking high-cal so its going really well. 47 to the body 61 to the head from most ranges.

Cryptic Dragon was one of those unappreciated non-auto rifle guns way back at the beginning of vanilla Destiny. If it didn't have full auto, it was either sharded for weapon parts or was placed in your inventory to be forgotten. Now that we know the true capabilities of the pulse rifle, scout rifle and handcannons, I really wish Bungie would bring back the True Power and glory of the ARs.....Really Bungie, bring the Auto Rifles to what they were!!!!???? Aside from that, I always thought Dead Orbit's Hung Jury was the second best SR behind The VoC, but as of right now, I'm anointing The Cryptic Dragon as the second best SR in the history of the Destiny universe!!!! If you have high caliber rounds or explosive rounds with 3rd eye or fire fly, you have a pretty diverse legendary SR capable of doing serious damage in PvP and PvE.

2 RepliesIt's alright. I'd really prefer to have Hand Laid Stock/Braced Frame + Crowd Control on something like a Cocytus or Badger for easy 3 hit kills. I find that the mid-impact scouts really lack a lot of punch compared to the high-impact models.

Crowd Control with Reactive Reload is pretty good. I have one with: Crowd Control Explosive Rounds Firefly Love using it in PVE and did pretty well on pvp also.

The new raid scout is excellent in pvp, because of the ballistics, it can kill with two to the head and one to the body....

5 RepliesExplosive round would make it better 61 precision shot plus 20 from explosive rounds makes it a 3 shot kill. Try the cocytus sr4 from the gunsmith amazing scout does 71-74 on precision depending on range 50 to body

2 RepliesCryptic Dragon is a reskin of The Burning Eye. Zen Moment, HC rounds, & 3rd Eye is what I've got on mine. I like it.
