Nice TWAB Bungie, but...

...your changes fall short or your communication is flawed (again). Why? Because: - Red Death should be reverted to it's original form, it's 99% a PvE weapon and there's absolutely no reason to nerf it's signature perk for PvE players; - Truth mag size should be reverted to it's original form in PvE; - Hungering Blade should be reverted to it's original form in PvE; - NLB should stay untouched in PvE; - Sidearms should stay untouched in PvE; - Guardians health that have Armor values above 10 should be reverted to it's original form; - Shinobu's Vow should be reverted to it's original form in PvE; - Quick Draw should be reverted to it's original form in PvE; - Blink should be reverted to it's previous form; - Grasp of of Malok mag size should be reverted to it's original form in PvE; - Clever Dragon mag size should be reverted to it's original form in PvE; - High Caliber Rounds effect for Pulse Rifles should be reverted to it's previous value in PvE; You guys at Bungie know there's a thing called PvE in your game, right? I'm asking this just out of curiosity because it really seems nobody in that company has a clue that PvE exists when releasing a patch or a correction of a previous messy patch.

  • Bungie can't separate pve and pvp like that.

  • Since 2.5 years now PvE has taken a hit due to PvP. The problem is the lack of content in PvE. Most players have moved on to other games for PvE experience and the remaining to PvP. I'm sure if destiny had PvE content to cycle through, those PvE numbers would be much higher. In a game like destiny, there cannot be a balance. PvE needs to be separate form PvP but we know the incompetence of Bungie. It's true they have been listening to a small group of people asking for nerfs and that is the most unsettling part. They are taking players for granted but I'm sure with the recent patch, even the most hopeful have started to realize that Bungie doesn't care. Indeed if destiny 2 doesn't have separate PvE and PvP, sales are going to take a hit as it'll be destiny 1 all over again. But even to get to destiny 2 it's still a few months ahead, enough time for Bungie to make for break their own sequel.

  • Solid overview of the cause-effect that the nerfs have had on PVE. With no new content for PVE coming anytime soon I don't see Bungo implementing any of them. What the Forum Community and player base need to understand is that Destiny as a whole has been dumbed down. It's a game for the casual player to pick up from time to time and have fun. Destiny is not about becoming legend or vanquishing threats to humanity. Destiny DOES NOT have an endpoint. You know other games, you finish them, they're done? With Destiny there isn't a story. There isn't a final conclusion/climax and there isn't a consistent PVP experience because of nerfs and lag. All Destiny truly is? A time sink with amazing gun mechanics. That's it that's all.

    • When are you guys just going to except that that you are asking a company to do something they are incapable of doing? This isn't even a joke. The sanbox on this last livestream literally just showed they don't play their own game and nerf shit based off what's used the most and showed they nerf shit if something annoys them. With the added bonus of nerfing stuff no one asked for.
Stop trying to act as if Bungie is "listening"
• Yesterday 365,381 players logged into Crucible (a week ago that was 488k). 555,691 logged into PvE (a week ago that was over 600k). I'm watching. I'm sure Bungie is too, which is why TWAB listed a hot plate full of brand-new nerfs they are planning to serve. They foolishly think they can nerf their way out of this mess much the same way our government thinks they can spend themselves out of debt. Think I'm going to watch from the sideline from here on out though... until PvE is shown some respect I'm benching myself. The only way to send the message to Bungie is through play time. I'm only one player, but if there are enough like me it hastens Bungie's hand one way or another; they can either decide they care about losing the bigger part of their player base or they can accelerate their move toward a PvP-only title.

      • You're going to have to explain what authority you have to assert that these changes should happen.

It's because I am constantly hearing this same load of crap from content creators and the like, that just because there is a content drought that's it's ok to nerf everything for pvp. It's ok to screw over the pve community. Um what? It's the stupidest thing ever. Pve players don't just mosey on over to pvp because there is a content drought. Solely pve players faithfully play through the content droughts in pve, and to the very next second are continuously getting shat on by the pvp community. It makes no sense. No wonder this game is going downhill.

          • The programing in this game does not allow for changes that only effect one side. The game engine is extremely inefficient and hard to code. This is a well known and published fact. That is why they are making a completely new game engine for destiny 2. Live with it or quit.
