we might not have the choice to transfer anything because the architecture of destiny 2 is so different. or the classes and abilities may be completely different and will not work anymore in d2. not to forget it is done with new engine. however, it would be very disappointing if we start up destiny 2 and we get similar classes and abilities and the same old gear and would not be able to transfer our stuff on to it. if we reset our guardians i would hope bungie made the effort to create all new gear as well and did not just reskin or copy paste the same old suros regime and friends... the thought alone made my heart sink a bit. boy that would suck.

Literally get rid of everything. Except maybe emblems. Transferring shaders and whatnot would mean we're getting a Destiny expansion disguised as a sequel. No tank u

I'm voting everything should transfer over. We all saw the backlash when Bungie opted not to let the things we earned in Year 1 carry over. We've seen Bungie slowly backtrack on their stance and slowly bring things from year 1 forward, often times via DLC. Leaving stuff behind just for the sake of doing so isn't a good idea. Our gear should come forward and making all the gear we spent 2 years collecting useless isn't going to be a good start for the next Destiny title. I don't see a scenario where people refuse to continue if their gear is brought forward. However, I'm pretty sure plenty of people wont continue with Destiny if their gear is made irrelevant. TL; DR Bungie made the decision to make certain gear irrelevant in the past and the community really hated the decision, many of which quit Destiny at that point. Many of the people who stayed have been complaining that all the gear from year 1 should have been brought up to current levels.

Where's the option for all cosmetics should transfer over regardless of how they were obtained.
-
There is no real point for anything to transfer over. Sure it would be cool to have some recognition for you time, but it really serves no purpose.
-
No point transferring. All your gear will just take up vault space because it will be useless
-
shaders, ships, sparrows, emblems and maybe class items. that's it my supremacy sniper would be great though.
-
If characters don't transfer - which is one of the things we were consistently promised would happen - they should change the "Become Legend" motto to "Ha Ha Just Kidding - Become Irrelevant Because Ultimately Nothing You Do Matters And Thanks For The Cash".

Fresh start or I'm out
-
Edited by fozzwig: 2/27/2017 2:28:08 AMOne emblem and one shader per account. This emblem and the shader on my titan for me. The rest should be all new.
-
if you voted yes it should transfer over, i want you to realize that this is a brand new game. when halo 3 came out did you keep your halo 2 rank? no. similar concept. you guys need to let go of all of your "hard earned gear" and accept the fact that everyone will probably will be starting from scratch in D2.
-
Nothing transfers but people who played destiny 1 will have special items waiting for them in destiny 2
-
And Nepal shader and emblem please
-
Keep emblems, shaders, and emotes. Remove everything else.
-
Well if emblems don't transfer over I bet at least half of the people who purchased items for those special emblems won't be doing that anymore. So if Bungie wants more money they should definitely transfer those things players purchased out of game to get a code in game.
-
I think our character in D2 should b the same one we have now, but we should lose all our stuff
-
Erech!

Edited by zakkbailey: 2/26/2017 10:41:36 PMI think that the only thing we should be able to transfer over are the emblems, shaders, and other cosmetic stuff. Especially the stuff that I paid money for. Otherwise I want to experience the new game from the start. Since it is supposed to be a big departure from what we have now.
-
We should should be able to pick only a few weapons to transfer
-
I would like a fresh start. Vanilla destiny and TDB had the best experiences in my opinion. Oh how I wish I could experience them again :')
-
I want to keep my emotes, and ships, and anything that they reintroduce into d2. If there's a mida, I want my mida. I don't want to work for anything I already got, like the everyone who played y2 and 3 after y1.
-
only ps players vote for nothing to transfer.
-
I like the idea of the tower being destroyed in a Cabal raid and us losing everything in the vault but getting to keep everything on our characters back.
-
Edited by Dark Raven 2501: 2/26/2017 8:02:12 AMI think that everything should be transferred over. I've put a lot of time in to my characters leaving it behind is out of the question. The only thing that count 1: character 2: armour 3: weapons Ships - shaders & emblems can be replaced the experience with your character cannot be replaced
-
Edited by Sopranovic: 2/26/2017 3:42:19 PMEmblems, shaders, grimoire and my 3 characters should transfer. No weapons and gear, only cosmetics. I wanna play destiny 2, look at my hunter (main) and feel that this is the character i created when destiny 1 launched. I dont want to make new ones, i wanna keep my dudes the way i made them, they are me.
-
Everything should transfer,I want my Blacksmith shader to transfer at least.
