God has blessed me and I would like to bless one of you.

Thanks for taking part guys. I chose to go with the majority suggestion and I have started a reoccurring $25/month donation to make a wish foundation in the Name of the Bungie Offtopic Community. I will make a new thread next month to see if I am to continue it or cancel it and give to another charity. Here is to you my friends!!!

  • Don't worry op, it's "cool" and "edgy" for people to bash anyone who says anything pertaining to being a Christian. Congrats on your blessings and God bless!

  • "God has blessed me" is one of the most pretentious terms I've heard. God "blessed" you, but neglected to bless the children from Sandy Hook, the people killed in the Orlando shooting, or any other tragic thing that has happened. "God blessed you", but said -blam!- off to all the horrible things that happen in this world. How can one say "god blessed me" when there are children dying from a myriad of things? Why did god bless you and not a sick child?
because God isn't real
• Judging by the comments, it seems like your premature child was born safely. If so, congratulations! I was born premature, so maybe I can offer some advice here. I was born nearly as premature as it gets--28 weeks, to be precise. I was born late January, whereas I was supposed to be born on April 24th. I was 2lbs and 1oz when I was born, and from there, I lost weight. Obviously I don't remember a thing from that time, but my parents told me that they were worried for my life for months afterwards. I'm still covered in scars from the IV units and other shots that I received, but they're pretty inconspicuous at best. As a kid I had some development issues. I was small, with auditory-processing and hand-eye coordination issues, among other things. I was put through a lot of therapy as a kid. Depending on how premature your child was, I'd recommend doing the same. Physical and Occupational therapy really helped to offset my early development issues. Anyways, I turned out alright, I think. I'm a normal guy, with a well-adjusted life and all that shit. Socially and academically I'm more than fine, and while I wouldn't say that I'm necessarily athletic, my coordination is good. At the end of the day, I'd say that being premature is something that could be potentially detrimental later in life, but if you deal with any potential issues early on, everything'll be fine. So good luck with your kid, and just play it safe.

    • If love is under 30 dollars I would love to have. All my life I've been searching for that one guy to make me feel special but I've had nothing but heart break. If you could find me someone to love that loves me I will be the happiest person in the world. I have this guy on my Ming all the time, but I don't think he likes me very much, he goes to my school, anyway if you could buy me someone that truly loves me I will be forever grateful.

      • Here is a charity that means a lot to me. They provide help and support to blind and partially sighted people all around the UK. The government decided to cut the grants it was giving out to charities a while back and they were hit fairly hard, so they had to cut back on various outreach programmes and community-based workshops/clubs etc, including a few that I was a part of. Because at the end of the day people don't donate to these small charities very much. Oxfam, the Red Cross, Cancer Research will always have money for things but some just get forgotten about.

          • I'd just donate that to charity. Just read that your son was born premature (Hope he is doing okay now!) and the things that come with that. Maybe could donate that money to (https://www.bliss.org.uk/Pages/Category/other-ways-to-donate). They help and support premature babies and their families. Just figured that if after all you consider spending that money on charity, you might want to donate that to something that has some sort of meaning to you. But that's completely up to you.
