What do you know Another Nerf. Memory of Skorri because of Trials of Osiris
I'm a PVE, Raid and Iron Banner player tired of getting a nefts on items like memory of Skorri. Just because of Trials of Osiris. If you have a problem with that game mode then why don't you get rid of all the artifacts perks you wouldn't have that problem in Trials of Osiris. Having a modifier in trials of Osiris like Strikes and Nightfalls all have modifiers would fix everything. And if you choose to keep the new way with the a Kill for effect last 60 Seconds you should expand the range by 50%.

Never on the PVE side of the game saying this perk is to strong or weak. Unless the PvP side ruins it for us. We play the game because it's a game not trying to get the lighthouse each week. Just hate too many cry babies don't put the time to be a better skilled player in a 3 year old game rather waste bungie time and money.

130 RepliesFor everyone saying "if you're can't get a kill every minute, you suck". You are missing the whole point of Skorri's artifact. It was most beneficial in raids when setting up for a boss encounter. It allows superstar to charge quickly while determining positions and strats. Once the encounter begins, you will be too spread out for it to work anyway. So this basically makes it useless now. All because of Trials streamers getting butt-hurt about people camping. Ummm why don't you push them if they're camping? Could it be because you are camping as well and don't want to give up your toasty little campfire!?

Does anyone really use Skorri in raids or nightfalls? I mean, people tried it out a bit when ROI first came out, but its hardly necessary. Its not like getting your super is an issue, and with all the ads to kill it only really shaves a couple of seconds off, whereas in trials where you're only getting a few kills per round people farming super with skorri can turn a match. I've certainly never used Skorri in PVE.

1 ReplyPvE matters until you get your weekly stuff done, and once you have all the exotics (which should have been 2.5 years ago if you are day 1) it doesnt matter at all. In fact it's stupid to keep repeating the same activities over and over. PvP (trials in particular) is the only thing that has kept this dying game relevant for the past 2 years. So yes, changes should be more focused around trials. PvP matters, PvE is kinda dumb after youve done it once. And if you need Skorri for PvE (or PvP really) you should never be allowed to address the human race in writing again. [spoiler]Come get some all you Nightfall and Raid pros, but dont jump because Grounded is on and I will mess you up this week[/spoiler]

2 Repliesit's been proven time and time again that Trialhard's should not be partaking in balance discussion's as 90% of their ideas are either completely unnecessary or would just further ruin the game. and they love to lie. afterall they claim it's what's keeping the game alive and that their precious 3% of the community is more important than the other 97% of the community. they are also very clueless as they want a nerf to skorri when it's best to just disable the artifact in trials. BAM they no longer have to deal with it and PvE players go about their normal routines. its even more amusing when they say they are the best of the best when we all know that's not true. the best of the best would be able to adapt to any challenge that opposes them. that includes combating people using skorri's and stopping them before they get their supers. the fact of the matter is that if they are having problems dispatching people using skorri's then the skorri team was going to win anyway as they were just better since they were getting their super first as it needs a charged super to even work.

It's about team work and devising a strategy to overtake the other team. Building a super to crutch onto is not a strategy. And besides if you are going to whine about such a minor nerf them quit this game. One kill to activate 60 seconds of the ability is simple. If you can't get a kill in trials then why are you playing it? As for iron banner, it isn't a big deal. Getting kills and completing objectives rewards you with super energy. Stop complaining already. It's utter annoyance listening to people bitch about a crutch.

6 RepliesYou know, the sad truth is that PvE players complain too much. The reality is that this game is not meant for pve and PvE games are horrifyingly boring. The only fun pve game ever was Dark Souls. If this game and Destiny 2 wants to survive, it has to be PvP focused. Also, is it that hard killing a dam* dreg every 60 seconds? Lol it sounds like you can't aim for crap.

Something needed to be done but I dunno why it has to affect both PvE and PvP. Like they have artifacts that only work in crucible. Why don't they just make skorris only work in PvE or something?

7 RepliesThis post might be talking specifically about Memory of Skorri, but the overall message is what should be important. PvP balances should be COMPLETELY SEPARATE FROM PVE BALANCES. What about that do some of you people not get? I don't care how good/bad the change to Skorri was. Updates and balances revolving around PvP shouldn't be applied at all in PvE. One example is no precision hits on Shotuns. Guess what is nearly useless in PvE now? (even more so than it was before..) 4th Horseman. On Arc Burn I would love to run up to a boss and spam every shot into it's head/crit spot and take huge chunks of health away. Well now I can't do that anymore. Why? Because balancing for a part of the game that I don't even play anymore. It shouldn't be this way and if it's like this in Destiny 2, I'm selling my copy on ebay for 10 bucks after the 1st balancing patch.

Tell me how this is gonna hurt pve? It won't! Think about raids, most encounters you break into groups of 2 or 3, there are adds everywhere so skorri is always gonna be useable. Most strikes players spread out so skorri is useless anyway but when they are together again there are adds everywhere. And patrol and missions are usually done solo so what's the problem?

If everyone did not complain so damn much they would have left everything alone pretty much and not nerfed it into the ground and not only that but now that they have ran out of weapons to nerf the ammo is now nerfed into the ground and it's not the first ammo nerf either ...so basically us players who prefer pve for the pure enjoyment of this beautifully made game have to suffer these nerfs what a shame

This nerf thing just seems like an endless loop really. Players will keep exploiting the best weapons and items for the advantage and nerfs and buffs will never stop. Perhaps it would be good to completely separate weapons tunings and perks and such for PvP and PvE. It was a nice experiment but it doesn't work. Hopefully they'll learn that in their next game. No way I'm buying that shit though.

1 ReplyHow is anything getting nerfed in this game ever a good thing? Why is bungie nerfing anything that affects the entire playerbase to appease the 1% that they covet so much? If only 1% of the playerbase is allowed to get to the lighthouse according to Bungie, yet something is nerfed that affects the entire playerbase. Then trials should be changed to allow everyone to get to the lighthouse. Seems only fair at this point to me. Problem solved. Next up world peace. If you have trouble getting your super in pve, let alone a kill to start the new Skorri's up then there's something extremely wrong here.
