New players AND old players will be turned off due to the new NLB/sidearm meta. Cmon bungie, who did you really think this update would benefit?
One of the best parts of the game was grinding to get the best weapons. And when it happened, it's so exciting to be able to use them in PVE and PVP for the first time. Due to all the nerfs, I never have this experience anymore. Yeah sometimes it would be frustrating when you were constantly being killed by last word or felwinters lie, but now I'm even more frustrated that I keep getting killed by NLB and sidearms. So no matter what y'all do, there's always gonna be a meta. The only difference now is some of the fan favorites and most fun to use guns in the game are completely useless now so people never get a chance to use them, so there's really no point in even getting them. Revert everything back to the way it was and people will actually enjoy playing again.

I have adapted now. I've never cried for a nerf. I just adapt. I've been playing crucible using only primary. Sometimes I'll get 10 kills or more, sometimes I don't. I'm still having fun.
Crucible is totally unplayable for EVERYONE
That's completely wrong. I haven't problems to play against Sidearms and NLB without being killed many Times. My Auto and I will -blam!- every NLB User in closed Combat.
-
You don't speak for me. I love the changes.
-
Your just salty. Had a clash match last night. Autos hand cannons and pulses everywhere. Half through all us randoms formed into three man packs without game chat. The lead was constantly changing. I had a blast.
-
Well, yeah, that's what happens when Bungie keeps listening to the Nerf Brigade. This downhill descent into "balance" is going to remove the incentive to go out and get good gear. That's what the whiners want. So what, if you keep getting killed by NLB or any meta weapon? Jeez, what weapon would you be more happy getting killed with??? LOL.

The main thing I noticed after the patch was how much more laggy and how many more phantom bullets I fire now.
-
Whoa whoa whoa hold up. Destiny is by no means unplayable, especially not for "EVERYBODY" There is no one voice of the Destiny community, and signing off your own opinions as those of the community is damn arrogant. Just deal with the nerfs and take the patch as an opportunity to diversify your skillsets.
-
I'm having a blast, and have been seeing minimal NLB/Sidearm. Take your hyperbole elsewhere.
-
Repeated NLB kills are frustrating, but I don't feel overwhelmed by sidearm usage. I just finished the Weapon Master quest line AFTER the patch. Went through 4 matches with 6+ primary weapon kills (each type) ARs, Pulses, Scouts and HCs. It's better than the Thorn/Last Word meta, IMO I've enjoyed the variety of primary weapons and rarely even grab special ammo.

When did u speak for everyone?

Who died and put you in charge.

Unplayable? Not really.. I played last night with Bladedancer.. was tearing up the other team. Granted I am not exactly a fan of some of the changes. But its definitely playable.

Unless you only play Trials, NLB/Sidearms aren't even an issue. Primary fights are everywhere with plenty of Special ammo mixed in.
