Destiny Vanilla V Destiny: the collection
Please advise,
I have destiny vanilla on Xbox one, with no DLC, digital download. Well played, current level 34 on two guardians.
I have been given Destiny: The collection on disk as a gift(2nd hand). If I insert the disk what will happen to my current progress? Will I have to start again?

The rest of 'the collection' comes in the form of DLC codes on inserts in the case. If it really is second hand, chances are those codes have been used and now you only have Destiny Vanilla on disc and digitally. Also, your progress will always be there. It's all stored server-side, tied to your PSN/XBL ID. So regardless of [i]how[/i] you're playing it, all of your XB1/PS4 progress will still be there.
