When I think about it, there has never been a clear answer as to why these three guns were left behind. Everyone has been asking and demanding that they be brought back and yet Bungie refuses to.
Why Bungie? Why are you afraid to bring them back?
-
In order to bring back vex and necro, there needs to be the raids along side them, as for the pocket infinity, it wasn't used much during y1 so according to bungie, it's not a priority to bring it back
-
Edited by aliensnail: 2/26/2017 10:26:26 PMThey are afraid to bring them back because look at what happened to thorn and ghorn, they got brought back in the less than good state they used to be in and it ruined people's view of them, making them less fun. Those weapons are some that people have good memories of, and while I want them to come back, bunji is worried that they will lose players if they ruin those guns
-
No need to mess with old content. U can still use them. Waiting for fresh new stuff

Edited by Dawncaller: 2/25/2017 6:11:33 PMI LIKE CAPS LOCK AND REALLY LONG MESSAGES, THEY'RE SO FUN, WHOOOOOOO CAPS LOCK AND LONG MESSAGE IN TITLE SO GOOD MANY YAY THIS IS AMAZING I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS YAY

Edited by Whiskey Chits: 2/24/2017 4:12:26 PMBecause! Destiny 2's E3 trailer will be three guardians all running forward with necro, pocket and vex going pew pew pew. Followed by.... "Pre-Order now for exclusive year 1 raid gear."

I'm going to agree that if they get brought back they'll be changed in such a way that they won't be fun. What's the point in having exotics that are terrible? They don't necessarily have to be better than legendaries but they all should be competitive I think. They shouldn't be overpowered either but competitive. They shouldn't lose gun battles because they lack the damage necessary to kill in their ranges. But ever since year 2 was introduced more and more exotics have been taken to the chopping block. Some have been through multiple times. Now there uniqueness is gone and are nothing but lesser weapons than legendaries. I would love to see them return but not become things that just sit in an already full vault.

Bada Bing bada boom capiche?
-
Why? They will just nerf each of them 10 times more. Pointless to bring them back.
-
Cause they are fun

Cozmo has been replying to a lot of threads lately, hopefully this can be one of them.

Btw, we will get an update next time (no later than 2 Months) with maybe the old year one raids (just a speculation!)

WHIYYY BHUNGEEEEEE ALL CAPS. UPVOTE ME
-
You people always jump to conclusions to fast just wait and see what bungie will do if they dont bring the weapons back oh well too bad. for you that is.
-
Remember when DeeJ says the Necrochasm and Vex Mythoclast would be and I quote "frozen in time", and the community made a mockery of him when they were able to be maxed all the way to the highest value in The House of Wolves? People may have jumped to conclusions too soon... Looks like they are indeed frozen in time. Doesn't mean I don't want them with Year 3 values, I want them as much as the next guy. Although Vex could do with some serious stability buffs before I ever lay my hands on it again and Necrochasm could do with an archetype change as there was never really a place for low impact Auto Rifles in PvE.
-
You mean why or when do they need some cash?
-
Because Luke Smith had the idiotic idea to have us ALWAYS use our PvE weapons in PvP. Worst game design decission ever.
-
-
Bungie: "Hell no! Funnest guns we ever nerf'd! We'd love to nerf them again!"
-
They have not confirmed they are coming back, yes. They have also not confirmed that they are not coming back. I'd rather that they come back with the content they came from, which is what the case was with the Prison of Elders gear. We will most likely see something along the lines of the Vault of Glass and Crota's End coming back to relevancy sometime in spring, much like Challenge of Elders. Just wait and see what comes up.
-
Bring all weapons back with the raid updates
-
Probably cause they're waiting until the Spring Update when they are supposedly bringing up the old raids.
-
They aren't afraid, they are going to used them as a carrot in "D2"
Black hammer anyone?
-
April update
-
Luke Smith is more closely related to the things you leave in the toilet than actual human beings.
-
They are being saved for a different "content release"
-
Edited by Kone19ps: 2/23/2017 11:18:32 PMPocket infinity who knows probably just to keep an exotic for "content additions" but the other two they are just waiting for the raids in April hopefully
