Do you still snipe in this meta?
Who still has balls to snipe in this meta? And I mean with a regular sniper like LDR-5001, not NLB or Icebreaker.
If you do, then you have my respects! Not sure if anyone would want my respect, but still lol.
I'm not afraid to lose ammo on death. Special ammo spawns very often so I rarely need to wait for the boxes to appear, although being forced to reload every time you pick up ammo gets old very quickly.
If you checked my short little video, I thank you and hope you liked it. I'm really liking the But Not Forgotten sniper rifle. My roll has Hand-Laid Stock, Quickdraw and Unflinching. Serves me quite well.
Also if you still use shotguns or fusion rifles, respect to you as well! I'm really getting tired of all these Sidearms haha.

I always snipe, in fact. I've been this way since October 2014. There's just something extremely rewarding about it and the fact that it takes at least a little bit of skill. I pick up around 7-8 kills a match with a sniper usually. If I'm playing awfully (often) I only get around 3-4. The snipers I prefer are my longbow with shortgaze, my devils dawn, my event horizon and my LDR with shortgaze.

They made it hard in the last update (before this one) to snipe, now it's only harder. I've preferred Sidearm since ROI, but with all the hate they're getting now, I'm just back to a PR/SR combo, only sniping when it's opportunistic.

13 RepliesDO I STILL SNIPE?? HAH! Heck yes I do! I picked up an Eirene for expressly for this patch! All these former shotgun hounds desecrating the formerly pure glory of sidearms (occasionally) feel the wrath of a sniper with only 21 aim-assist! (And before anyone gets bored and sees the 8908 Shotgun kills that was from the Chaperone on my Titan plus or minus a few from my Hunter when I was bored and sad and in possession of a Universal Remote)

4 RepliesLDR is still my favorite. Icebreaker feels....weird, like the bullets have less velocity than a standard sniper rifle. Maybe that's just me.

1 ReplyIn the past when I got wrecked by an NLB user in a game I would just say aloud "well played sir", yet when wrecked by 1kys etc I would die inside. Now it's the other way around. Strange. [spoiler]neither were op, nearly all of my many deaths are my own fault for bad play[/spoiler]

1 ReplySure you can, if you're lucky to get special. The pvp team completely killed all special weapons outside of icebreaker, trespasser, and wormwood.
