You kinda contradicted yourself in the first couple raids where a giant psion kills itself in moon into the sun but the second raid involves the hellmouth? And I think you could've expanded the universe a bit why not take the fight to some new planets?

Hmm, new planets? We haven't explored completely or liberated the ones we have here. Let's clean house first, then we'll see what we can do about the rest next. I would like to have more than just a "last city", before I go wandering off into space

For earth, I can agree on more exploration but with new enemies comes new territories. The fight doesn't always have to come to us, let's take the fight somewhere else. Plus it would give us reason to be gone for the story to play out of the fall of the city pans out
