We need more good, lasting and rewarding PvE content

*disclaimer: I categorize rewarding as anything that supplies 400 light gear/weapons* I love Destiny, like almost all of you who still hop on everyday to do whatever you do, but there's on glaring issue Bungie doesn't address that often: the extreme lack of PvE content. I think that most of us can agree that Destiny, as of right now, is a PvP focused game. A lot like it's "predecessor" Halo. As a person who had horrible experiences with various styles of PvP games and an avid player of almost all the PvE content offered to me, I find this upsetting. I came to Destiny sometime after I had stopped playing World of Warcraft in hopes of discovering a game that could take its place. This was about two months before the Taken King Spring Update. At the time, I felt like the transition from WoW to Destiny was worth it. I was happy leveling my hunter to forty, and playing the content that was offered to me when the April Update rolled out. I had a damn good time with Kings Fall, the heroic playlist, and Challenge of the Elders. Now we look at Rise of Iron. What sort of good, rewarding PvE content do we have? The raid. That's about it. What sort of rewarding and "fun" PvP activities do we have? Let's see... There's Iron Banner, the "limited time event" Trials of Osiris, and literally any Crucible game mode. See the issue here? We need more PvE content. And not something everyone will stop doing after they get their beloved year 1 exotic (I'm looking at you Strike Scoring). We need something challenging, fun, rewarding and something that keeps us playing throughout the week until the next weekly reset. I'm tired of doing a couple heroics a day just to get one skeleton key for a Fakebringer, only to get another pair of those Theosyion Vibrasae gauntlets and log off for the day because there's nothing left to do until the next reset. "Just play Crucible until the reset!" I don't want to. That's not why I came to Destiny. I came to Destiny so I could have the PvE experience I didn't get in WoW. I'm well aware that Destiny can't cater to everyone's needs, but seeing as how Destiny is mainly catering to all the "famous" Trials and PvP streamers by putting metric tons of content and attention to Crucible in Year 3, I don't know if I'm getting that same experience or that sense of fulfillment I did when I first started playing. I still love Destiny, and I'll still play it on a daily basis for a chance at that Fakebringer; but we need good, rewarding and lasting PvE content. Please Bungie, give us that in the Spring Update.

 • Update all raids but with a twist on mechanics and an extra boss or 2 Brand new strikes A horde mode (not PoE) but endless waves of enemies. The longer you survive the better the loot. Nightfall raids - raids with modifiers and much more punishing (wiping resets your progress like a Y1 nightfall) but extremely good rewards Ship battles Give patrols more use create huge events like defending the city itself from a fallen invasion (failure to complete event results in part of the city or tower being "attacked and damaged" could be a community even with a boss with a ton of health and his health drops based on everyone's damage all around the world Just thinking out loud here
