Reverting it back to the old days is an archetype thing, not Red Death specifically.

It was always a Nirwen's Mercy archetype (14 Impact).

I'm referring to the health regeneration that was recently nerfed, not the gun archetype.

It still is lol. This is why the guns usage is so low. Low range. Low stability. Even the exotic perk can't make up for it if the gun cannot compete against a legendary pulse. Mu hopscotch performs much better in a 1v1 situation, and at further ranges too. There's no reason to use red death at that point. I understand bungie wants exotics to be unique, but a lot of them need a slight bump up to their usability so that they are more competitive against legendaries.
