I agree whole heartily! I literally had a long conversation this morning, and you basically covered all our points. I enjoy the new primaries meta. Lots of crying about sidearms but I don't really have an issue putting them down with shadow. Played with a lot of primaries that had dust all over them. That being said I've been using Havoc pigeon for a long time now (even before the matador craze) and knew that people would be shocked by the power of sidearms once they came into play more. The problem is you hand a below average kid a pre nerf 64, he's gonna get some kills. You hand him a side arm hes gonna get out gunned all day. Pros used shottys because they were effective. Now you're taking out the random one shot kills and forcing people to engage in gun fights and there is going to be an increase in skill gap, plain and simple.
Also, so many kids crying about sidearms ammo on the forums and they had no idea they worked that way all along. Like literally never equipped one. I agree with your death special idea but may be a bit heavy. I like the crates being objective points. Reminds me of an older Bungie game.
Truth had it coming, but too heavy handed with the nerf as always. 2 would be right.
