bungie isnt restoring the nerf to red death. now it will only give a portion of health back. read cozmos latest post for more details. red death is one of my favorite guns...-blam!- this

Red Death is just one of those weapons that have just been forgotten, thanks to balancing patches (ex: high rate of fire handcannons and mid impact pulses.) SAD
-
But now the health gain can't be interrupted. You're also gaining back a significant chunk of health. As long as you're consistently killing things, this could end up being a net buff for Red Death.
-
Sad :(
-
Pre TTK that was my regular gun. I mean, this was before the ghorn nerf so in certain situations i'd opt for Fatebringer/VoC/Fang, the crota sniper(OG black hammer), and ghorn but mainly for most things? Red death. I tested it and was not happy with the results. It needs a bit more of a buff as well as completely un-fuking it up. Bring it back to pre-ttk when nirwens was great in pve. I ran that gun a lot too. Now? Hung Jury or this bad ass cryptic dragon i got from........idk where but it's good

I was using Red Death last night in the Plaguelands. I feel like the health regen works better for it. Also, the Red Death perk still reloads ammo stupid fast, like War Machine on Defender fast. I will agree the damage needs a buff. The whole archetype needs one. Otherwise, you need to blind fire coming around corners upon engagement and use cover VERY WELL to make the mid fire pulses work
-
It's going to give back over half your health. That's much better than some regen that gets stopped when u get pelted by a rock.
-
Red death hasn't been worth a shit since yr 1
-
Yeah that why your most used weapon is auto rifles . It just goes to show how idiots just wanna post anything on these forms for attention. These forms are cancerous.

Edited by Young Padawan: 2/19/2017 1:47:57 PMBungoe is just following Vanguard policy "Destroy this gun at sight". I dont know why is everyone complaining about it 😂😂
-
Sad to see my favorite gun become the new low tier exotic
-
There's no reason for this nerf. Bungie doesn't listen, so it's time to make them listen. STOP BUYING BUNGIE GAMES!!! Unless you like constant nerfing of things that don't need it. If that's the case, Bungie is the developer for you!
-
They won't be happy till there's no real benefit in equipping an exotic. Then and only then, they will give themselves a pat on the back for 'a job well done' for wrecking things.
-
Edited by Shaft62702: 2/19/2017 6:53:03 PMExotics are much easier to obtain than a good rolled legendary. They are not meant to be superior to other weapons, just unique in looks and maybe a unique perk to the weapon. Why should something so easy to get be more powerful?
-
It's a joke !! They -blam!-ed this game up way to much for my liking.. I'm finished!!
-
I don't get it , why Red Death have so small range? Which perk makes him as exotic gun? Restoring small amount of health? Just don't use it, forget like Truth. Ty.
-
Yeah, they destroyed the whole purpose of the weapon. And it sits in a useless archetype. Sigh...goodbye Red Death.
-
Red death was my main exotic.......
-
Man I used it the other night in pve and it just sucked performance wise too..it was so fun to use.
-
If they increased its base stability to match others in its archetype I feel like it would be a lot more use able.
-
At least the ornaments look cool. *shrugs shoulders*

-
It's actually maybe better for pve now? What if you're fighting on an Exposure modified nightfall that the shield regen wouldnt work anyway? Just saying it can be a good change for certain situations. Besides it should not be so easy to regen shield in pvp with just a gun
-
the clear problem here is bungie making all exotics easy obtainable...that what -blam!-ed this game...
-
It might not be so bad if the 58% happens instantly. The old perk was it would restart health regeneration so you had to build up to full health. So from 10% to 58% would take longer the old way vs instant 58% upon activation. All might not be lost.
-
Why they give the name exotic to a load of guns and them make the feel anything but exotic il never know. Point being there are plenty of them that just are not viable or are not interesting enough to be 'situational' as bungie once stated, not they should not be OP in every way but should feel like they are worth using. Red Death was my first exotic and I used to love it, it's average stats were outweighed by the perk which now doesn't work properly, bungie's logic is all over the place ATM.

Edited by Captain EagleHeart: 2/19/2017 5:48:19 PMTo be quite honest, im surprised there hasnt been protests at their front door about this. Hoping terrorists dont try anything on them, plus, remember tge saying. "Beware stupid people in large groups"
