Hotfix 2.5.0.2 Feedback

There are a lot of threads out there already on the new changes, but I wanted to give a central location to point everyone to when they ask me where they can share their thoughts. Now that you have had a few days to play the new changes we want to hear what you experiences have been playing. What do you like? What do you hate? What do you think is good but could be better? What would you change?

 • I only play trials on this game, but it's just not fun anymore. It's nothing but stickies, no land, hand cannon, and sidearms. There is nothing else that can compete with those. I got my flawless runs in for the weekend thanks to No Land and Wormwood, but I don't want to have to be limited to those weapons to play well in trials. Before I get all negative, I will start by saying that you did a great job addressing pulse rifles. The Clever Dragon is no longer the dominant primary weapon and slow RoF pulse rifles are back on the map. The auto rifle buff was great as well. It's awesome that I can use them again without being completely overpowered. The nerf to Shinobu was another good idea, I think tracking could have been dropped a little more, but it's not a serious problem or anything. The shotgun nerf is understandable. Matador and Party Crasher spamming was out of control, but you nerf'd them beyond usability in an actual competitive match. Since you can no longer use them in air, it's impossible to take out people spamming sidearms or hand cannons without going for a surprise flank. I think the special ammo problem could have been solved by simply giving us less special at the beginning of rounds and picking less special ammo out of boxes. By removing the ability to spawn with special ammo, you simply promoted sidearms as the main secondary weapon. Sniping and shotgunning was one of the most enjoyable parts of trials and you pretty much took it away. I can't possibly understand how the no land remained untouched when you completely destroyed the universal remote. The hand cannon buff was awesome, but now hand cannons with the right perks can even outplay scout rifles at a ridiculous range. I've been double tapping scout rifles with Hawkmoon from across the map and that's just not fair. Truth might as well just be a legendary weapon now. Don't even get me started on the Bladedance nerf. I understand you guys put a lot of work into this and you do a great job at developing amazing FPS games, but I think that the post-hotbox trials is no longer recognizable. You tried to solve your problems by destroying a lot of great things. I've been a huge fan of your games since the original Halo, but this new weapons balance is making me second guess getting Destiny 2.
