There are a lot of threads out there already on the new changes, but I wanted to give a central location to point everyone to when they ask me where they can share their thoughts. Now that you have had a few days to play the new changes we want to hear what you experiences have been playing.
What do you like?
What do you hate?
What do you think is good but could be better?
What would you change?

Thanks for giving us a central place to give feedback! I have mostly positive things to say about the update, so I'm sure it will get buried in all the salt... but I'll try anyway!
What do you like?
Primaries! Hand cannons feel excellent now at close range, and pair really well with a sniper. Great change! Pulse rifles are still great mid range, and scouts are solid like they've always been. Some people think the auto rifle changes didn't go far enough, but I appreciate how difficult it is to make them competitive at high levels without making them completely overpowered at lower skill levels. To expand on this, I feel like a major reason primaries feel good now is because of the special ammo changes. It spawns enough where you really don't have to go without it if you don't want to, but losing it on death forces you to be more selective with using it (aka, actually default to your primary). Some people complain about snow-balling in 3v3 game modes (which I don't typically play so I can't comment too much on), but if that turns out to be a legitimate problem I hope you find a way to handle the special economy differently in 3v3 modes, because the current system works great in 6v6. High caliber rounds changes were also great. Glad that my fights are no longer decided by flinch! Jugg shield changes were also very well done. Finally, I love the in-air accuracy buff to primaries. If we're being honest, everything else in this update is pretty minor compared to the HC and special ammo changes (yes, even the most salt-inducing things). Its human nature to be affected more by negative experiences than positive ones, and I think that's something this community has fallen victim to this time (and probably all the other times too). Crucible plays better than it has since RoI dropped; I'm loving it and I appreciate what the team has done with the change!
What do you hate?
Hate it probably too strong of a word, but I'm not a fan of the health regen changes. They hit voidwalker (my main) especially hard, since that whole subclass revolves around getting your health back. Hurt a number of classes in PvE too :( If you really feel the need to adjust how these perks work, I wish you would have put them on a cooldown like cauterize instead of giving a small amount of health back. The blink changes came out of left field as well. The jump was hardly ever used, and needed a buff if anything. I think most of us are very confused and would like to hear the reasoning behind the change. Finally, the quickdraw changes were confusing to me as well. I get that people used it a lot, but that's because it made the crispy gunplay of Destiny feel even crispier. And that's a good thing! Again, not really understanding this change.
What do you think is good but could be better?
Maybe Truth did need a mag reduction, but I wish it would have gone to 2 rather than 1... Feels like overkill tbh.
What would you change?
I think sidearms should lose their ammo on death, but spawn in with 2 clips of ammo. Basically how it worked before when you died with no ammo. People have taken to spamming sidearms on smaller maps, and it can be frustrating. To sum this up, the major changes are overall very positive for the game. Primaries are the go-to weapons, and crucible feels great right now. The salt is really coming from the relatively minor changes, and I admit many of them are confusing and uncalled for. Releasing another hotfix soon to fix the minor (but keep the major ones) would go a long way toward making people feel more comfortable with this update.
