I agree with a lot of what LemonadeSnowcone posted.
I can't stand the nerf to special ammo. Having your secondary ammo disappear after a death is one of the dumbest things I've seen in a shooter. In typical Bungie fashion, they increased something (the special ammo drop timer), but then had to take something away. In all honesty, I greatly prefer how it was compared to now and would rather just see it switched back. They are forcing players into relying so heavily on primaries now that special weapons are almost irrelevant.
I don't think fast pulse rifles needed to be knocked down nearly as much as they did. The focus should have been making other primaries better by fixing the issues with them. Auto rifles in particular need some buffing.
The Truth getting nerfed makes no sense and no one really cares about Young Howl, so where did that come from?
Only the overly used shotguns should have been tweaked.
Not sure why blade dancer subclass was tweaked. If any super related tweaks with the hunter is needed it's the delay of anchored tethers. I can't begin to count how many times I've seen opponents or teammates run through anchored tethers, because the activation delay is so great. I've also seen on too many occasions inconsistencies in which 2 players standing right by each other will not both be tethered. One will get tethered and the other remains unaffected.
It's very hard to find anything likable about this patch. I don't really understand the logic behind a lot of the decisions made with this update and where they were getting this feedback from since a lot of the community seems to feel the same way when it comes to issues. Hopefully they realize this and take steps to fix what actually needs fixing and restore the unnecessary nerfs, because as of right now I'm looking for other games to play.

Totally agree, nothing against Bungie but all weapons should be almost as good as the others, there should be no definitive 'best weapon'

That's exactly how I feel. By making the patches the way they are, they just create trends of what weapon dominates rather than allowing a more even, varied use of weapon type. They create a void by knocking down one weapon type and something else pops up to replace it, i.e. Sidearms filling the void of shotguns.
