fix the healing perks immediately.

Please fix the unintended healing perk situation ASAP. It absolutely destroys the neutral game of 2 of the 3 titan subclasses as well as voidlocks. Can't really asses how the rest is until you actually fix the stuff you broke on accident and shipped anyway.

  • The thing that is absolutely pissing me off is the whole nonchalant way they're addressing the health regen thing. Stop saying you'll observe it and say you'll fix it. This is ridiculous.

      • Thank you. The sandbox team should have never let this mess hit the game. This was either done on purpose or was the most amateur game patch ever released. I know this was a new team, but please screen your hires from now on. This completely breaks a good chunk of the game. Perks are lies and classes are a shell of what they used to be #fixvoidwalkers

        • I can't speak for the other subclasses, but VW is not nerfed, if anything its been improved. Before, Life Steal would activate a health regen, which of course means you gradually generate health over a set amount of time. Now, Life Steal gives you a chunk of health instantly. My play-style is akin to Mass Effects Vanguard, that is charging the front line, berserk, and fall back for CD's. I cant tell you how many times I've died due to a miscalculation in health regen. Now, you don't die when hit in the face with a heavy attack in the midst of regen. I call Noob on anyone complaining about VW rework. Bladedancer in pvp was perfectly fine, but again the regen limitation in PVE was extremely risky. The change has now made Bladedancer more PVE viable, but this recrowns it has king of PVP. Instant health restore with every kill is ridiculous. I've seen a single bladedancer take out a group in a single zone in control, he was close but he did not go down. Now, that same bladedancer is practically invincible. A shotgun blast to the face was barely enough, now I doubt it would be even close even with the base dmg increase. Thats just speculation, tho so ill see when i try myself.

          • Yeah they really do need to fix it. That should be a good enough sign that even the coding itself knows Blade is trash & doesn't need any more nerfs 🤣😭 But on the real, you're right. Yes, Voidwalker is still powerful, but all the different ways to regenerate health+nades took it from good to great. & Cauterize is the Sunbreakers whole neutral game. The nades & melee are good on their own as well, but regenerating health makes it great. & the fact that Defender is only good with No Backup Plans. It leaves Striker as the obvious choice to use without putting yourself at a direct disadvantage. I sincerely hope they're working on a hotfix. & in that hotfix all those perks need to be fixed - including hungering Blade...because that subclass needs it more than anything else right now. secondly, & really importantly, they need to rework the special economy in Trials. The changes are perfectly fine for regular crucible - 3s & 6s. But in elimination you're forced to use a sidearm unless you want to be at a disadvantage by havin no special 90% of games unless they're extremely slow matches. You're forced into 2 decisions... run your special of choice & have nothing for the majority of games. Or run a sidearm because having [i]some[/i] kind of special all the time is definitely better than having no special most of the time. (Obviously icebreaker players are also excluded from this issue) All we can do is hope that they don't take 4 months to come out with these changes... & even with all that being said, I'm still thoroughly enjoying Trials. It's fun using a sidearm! Although I do feel at a disadvantage against icebreaker/no land players, I'm still loving it. But , they still need to fix it!

          • I used Hungering Blade yesterday for the first time since the patch and I have to say, if all the health regen perks are that damn useless you might as well revert or replace them all.

          • It really should NEVER have been shipped as a broken patch If you want to PO people and give them an incentive not to play Destiny - Well Bravo then BungleVision - Mission accomplished with the "Hot Mess 2.05.02" patch.

            I am totally for restoring these perks. I find that it makes the game alot less fun or enjoyable in the pve portion of the game. If you have a perk in your perk tree called "life steal" and it doesn't do what it says it should, that is a problem. If they are to keep this after watching things play out (ugh) and all other regen perks this way on weapons/classes/armor, then they damn well better take out any text telling us it does something it doesn't do now. I main a Voidwalker and can tell you I have put in many hours to perfecting how I play that class. I find that class the most fun for me in pve. Now I'm not saying I need life steal to be "gud", but honestly it's fun to use when playing pve. I just want to enjoy the game the way it was intended in the first place. They fundamentally broke parts of the game that made it fun due to their mediocre pvp portion of the game. Weapons that have this perk to make it unique are basically just meh or useless now. This is why things that affect the pvp environment should stay there and leave the pve environment its own separate entity. It works for other games, why don't they do it here?

            alright look i main titan and while most of these changes are welcoming cauterize and storm fist getting hit has really pissed me off i mean come on guys really you should've just waited to ship the patch now 2 b honest im more worried about stormfist being reverted back to what it was because the simple fact is healing on the titan striker specifically is almost a must for most situations cuz most of the time you only get one storm fist hit any way and with over load your chances of getting another charge is slim now if it aint revertred at least make it to where titans heal more than what its at cuz i main striker since beta and its one of the things that save a titans ass more than not now sholder charge should definitely keep this cuz SC is a 1 hit most times anyway. now on to cauterize at least make it to where grenade kills give your health back in the same quantites its at now but melee should be reverted. now the reason i say this is because hammer is the titans only roaming super and we are less effective without the original healing setup. i say grenades cuz i cant tell you how many times i stick a fusion to someones face and get my health back and am able to stay in the fight longer and dont have to close a huge gap to punch him. im pushing for these changes to titan healing factor because we have f***ing t rex arms and have to be close to get a melee kill or even hit something in the first place i understand the changes to hungering blade cuz blink strike is vicious and has some freaky long range and warlocks melees are small AOE force b!+c#slaps tyhat also have range. titans got F***ED in this patch besides jug shield that had to happen jug is for weineys anyway. now i m fairly sure this comment i made is gonna be overlooked anyway but i sure hope you guys get this. BTW fix bubble to be what it was b 4 u patched it as well. oh yeah an make hungering blade heal more than just a third how bout three quarters. and the weapons that have been $#!+ on by this patch need to be fixed like now right phu King Now this is F.ing bull $#!+. n im mnot the only one who feels this way lots of people feel this way so for for Phuk sake fix it like a week ago thanks Bungie. although i must say how did you guys go from making one of the most successful game franchises to this bull $#!+

          • If anything, this update has made me try Striker more. I was a Sunbreaker main with Suncharge and Cauterize but with shotguns being less around and shoulder charge damage increased, running Striker has been fun. Aftershocks has been doing great for me for lightning grenades too.

                  • Just fix Destiny roll back the so called "balancing patch"! And please for the love of god make sure the design for Destiny 2 is not as flawed. Make balancing for PVE totally separate for PVP then when you inevitably mess up at least half the community are not messed up.
