Reduce amount of spawn ammo in side arms
Without removing what is special about side arms, the fact that they spawn with ammo, I think they need a slight tweak. Rather than retaining all of your special ammo on death, you should only respawn with the bare minimum, which I believe is a mag and a half. I think that would balance them out, and bring them more in line with the current special ammo economy.

You're playing to the Bungie mindset. It's the Bungie mindset that got us in this state. These nerfs all coagulate into a big spiral. Our guns are all significantly weaker than they were in Y1. (Not to go off on a tangent but PvE gets shafted hard here) Remove the stupid special ammo nerf and return special to the way it was and let's work from there. No more nerfs.

Haven't you guys learned anything from the recent patch? More nerfs aren't gonna fix this game. You can't keep chipping away at it with a pick-axe and a jack-hammer hoping to sculpt it into the perfect masterpiece. This irrational obsession with trying to fit everything to the same mold with constant nerfs will do nothing but drive this game into the ground. It's already sinking. Stop making it sink faster.

2 RepliesIf anything they should not let you keep the collected special ammo you pick up because it stacks . Solves the problem if there was one but they should have the enemy drop special ammo or at least a chance for it to drop when you get a kill.
