You saw you hate being forced to play with certain guns to compete, that's how it's always been! This last meta was Palindrome, TLW, High rof pulse rifles, nlb/sidearm, matador. If you weren't using one of these in a layout, kiss your games goodbye as you weren't even a viable competitor. The numbers don't lie, people always flock to certain weapons and then get mad when the devs change them.
I was actually able to use a Hakke pulse rifle in crucible and do well, without being shit on by grasp or dragon. When will the PvP community own it, it's your fault these changes happen and until you stop being sheep and flocking to easy kill weapons, nerfs WILL happen.

I want variety not just 3 guns that rule them all aka ice breaker last words and maybe we will see hopscotch again or something random high impact cause the boost... This was from the issue claimed to be cause of the lack of use of certain guns... So bungie logic says the solution is to worsen the problem further.. Maybe 3 areas of the patch can be even sorta ideal like storm caller malee even health regen nerfs can be sorta ideal in situations exploited like hammers stickies armintarium and cauterize for example... That's OP just rarely exploited and needed prevented this Nerf was ideal my opinion... But outside ideal patch notes of what I hear as a majority opinion completely shitting on special to force primary play isn't the answer either... Its these mass amounts of noobs that can't snipe nor shotgun saying use a primary for a chance at a kill... Well this patching was proof why that's not ideal... -
There are more viable options for guns and yes primary use is being pushed because the shotgun crutch being displayed in this last meta. It has nothing to do with noobs or not, just not being forced to use a matador or lose. It seems to me that most of the salt is coming from individuals that relied heavily on shotty use and now one can not just rush, face tanking damage to one shot someone. It's really very simple, you can still play with a shotgun, just play smart and you won't have to lose your ammo.
