I actually liked this episode a fair bit. I'd give it a 7/10. It hit all the right points, even if it didn't excel at times. That smile at the end sold it since we all know that Rick realises that he just found a whole army of well-armed people. Good job, Gabriel.

How did Gabriel know that they were there though?

No idea, but I'm sure that'll be explained soon. This may not have been his first time out on his own.

Edited by Elundis Core: 2/16/2017 12:05:44 AMTheorizing here. Gabriel didn't know they were there. What I, and others, speculate is that the "boots person" forced him into doing what he did. He goes into the pantry and we hear a loud crash but then cut to him loading up food, so we don't know how much time has passed. And if you crank up the brightness as Gabriel is driving away you can see a person sit up in the passenger seat.

That's very interesting. I'll have to look back at that. Hopefully it's not just a crew member or something. Interesting theory, but, just in case people read your reply, could you please indicate that it's a theory? Saying "Gabriel didn't know," sounds pretty definitive and could be taken as a comic spoiler.

Just edited that lol. Sorry, when I saw that dude sit up as he was driving away I was just excited as I didn't see it the first time.

I'll check that out. That definitely sounds plausible, but it also looked like Gabriel move the car out alone, which would imply the person was already in it. I'll have to rewatch it, I suppose.

Yeah. And I thought only Rick and Aaron knew about the boat. After really not liking Gabriel I've come to respect him and the way he's stepped up.

Same here. It's nice to see that characters have their own plans and lives outside of Rick's goals.
