The Cabal are boring though. There really isn't much to them at all and the Hive are becoming old. I understand that they're quite literally our arch nemesis, but they are almost always the same in the end.
The Siva Fallen arc was interesting.
The Vex are kind of boring primarily because they are just constant.
I hope in the sequel the City has learned from Siva, Eris and the Dark and studied abd created a less detrimental form of Siva, which could create a technology boom while also applying some teachings of the Dark to the Light because the Hive knew how to be strong. The Guardians should learn how to better use the Light.

Edited by general12912: 1/24/2017 7:56:31 PMWell, the Cabal are the only race we don't know that much about, and that don't really have a main campaign against them. All the other races do, and the Hive and Fallen have 2. The Cabal have been one of my favorites, though. I kind of like the idea of "giant slaying" Remember, apparently, not many guardians have actually survived the Cabal, specifically in the exclusion zone

There's quite a bit of information on the Cabal in the Grimoire, and the Cabal couldn't handle one Guardian on a good day. We can deal with them. The City is just weak because they don't bother to use the Light to its potential. But the Cabal is just a military force, nothing interesting

I dunno, the Vex to me are way more interesting than the others. The Vault of Glass, Kabr, Praedyth, Pahannin. Nothing felt more chilling to me than the idea that this race could erase you from time. The bottomless chasms, long drops and bizarre geometries hit me right in the Lovecraft. Ikora mused during one of the strikes that the Vex may have f'd with time repeatedly. She wondered if the timeline we were on was part of a Vex long game plan. Spooky sh*t. Also, the mythoclast, fatebringer, vision of confluence, etc. They had the best guns. Everything since then has felt a bit inconsequential in comparison.

I think the cabal are only boring because they haven't been fleshed out.

I mainly don't want a cabal raid because I have enough trouble shooting their tiny thick skulls. But to have a giant monstrosity of a Psion chained up like an ogre(Phogoth)/as the ruler of the empire would be a cool encounter.

The Psions are definitely cool tho. I'd fight what you're describing.
