Sunsinger needs a rework imo. It was designed to be a neutral class that can adapt in more ways than any other I know. The nerfs have made the build usable but much more specific which limits it's ability to contribute through a whole mission/strike/raid.
Adding an evade of some sort is needed but unless you make the perks more compatible it will still be limited.

Sunsingers can generate orbs, give teams Cooldown on abilities and debuff bosses and guardians.

You are wrong maybe you should read all the changes. Fireborn was changed, overshield was changed, firebolt was changed, Burn was transformed and I believe melee range was slightly adjusted (Could be wrong). Additional to that were many unlisted changes. For instance Brimstone and Sunburst features have been played with. In my montages in the start the function differently than they do now. Problem with playing with perks on a class built on a neutral game is this completely changes how the class functions as a whole. Changing burn for instance changed the damage of all grenades and melee not just firebolt. You sound unfamiliar with the class but to those that play it this makes sense.

I hear yeah. Sunsingers DPS on bosses and ability to support teams increased with the update.
