Dude your so wrong . In year 1 especially finding gear ( hopscotch pilgrim ) was way more grindy.
In Y1 you could play 100 strikes and never get the gun u wanted .. and when you did get it .. it still had garbage perks ..
You referenced fatebringer ... it's still the same with any raid gun . They all the same . Your clearly not informed.

Edited by BlackWidow503: 1/15/2017 6:07:35 PMIf opinions are wrong call me wrong lol. Back then I didn't feel like I HAD to grind for say, a hopscotch pilgrim, because in year 1 there were so many other options/guns that were actually useful and viable. Now, you only have a few measly guns that actually matter. Absolutely no variety. If YOU wanted to grind for a hopscotch pilgrim back then that was YOUR prerogative but it definitely wasn't necessary. You were the one creating a grind for yourself when you didn't need to. Edit: I also forgot to mention I didn't play pvp in year 1 so my opinion is based on using these guns in pve content not the crucible. Your opinion on the other hand may be in reference to pvp as I think a hopscotch pilgrim is a pvp gun? Even then it was better that not everyone had that gun anyway as I had heard it could two burst too easily. Maybe that's why you wanted the gun so badly?

Half the RNG was gone cause of rerolling.

Hopscotch had the ability of being re-rolled for a perfect role. But its drop rates were horrendous.
