  • Year One had the best gun-play. Everything was evenly matched besides a few exotics like Thorn (DoT was very potent), Hawkmoon (Double proc'ing Luck in the Chamber for one bullet) and Suros Regime (Focused Fire added a bit too much damage) because of their exotic perks. But everything else felt fun and fair to use. For the most part things were balanced. It also felt like all of the guns were indeed from the future and performed as if they were. Accurate and deadly. Now they're all made of foam and plastic. Auto Rifles now tickle like a feather and has the range of a thrown one. Hand Cannons now have bullets that are piloted by Fox McCloud, doing a barrel roll over the intended targets. Shotguns now have the range of playing "tag your it". Sniper Rifles now have a rumble pack installed on the scope. Certain archetypes are not allowed to have a perk that other archetypes of the same weapon type can have. Who is "balancing" this game at Bungie? They have no idea what they are doing, fire them. All of them. Enough with this knee jerk reaction to people saying "X gun is so OP". It's pigeon holing us all into one archetype and one type of gameplay. If you don't play tag, you're not in the game.
