The traveler and the darkness represent an impossible situation. An immovable object and an unstoppable force.
This is a class thought experiment, if there is absolute peace, how do you know it's not chaos. The darkness and the light are inherently the same force acting in different manners. The fallen see us as thieves, the hive see us another enemy to fight, the cabal see.... I don't phucking know.
There can be no light without the dark.

We need more such as you. The fallen are throughout the game painted as evil- for what? They killed a few of us, but if you think about it they are just trying to survive, just as we are. It does not make sense to demean them for this. We should have helped them, then maybe they would have helped us. The traveler left them, they have reason to be mad. It came to us, and we did not share. For the Cabal, we attacked them first. They sat on Mars, on their own, and we invade them, hack their computers, steal their knowledge, in their own base. We then proceed to slaughter them- why? So we can get some 'cool gear'. Why can't we leave them alone?

On the fallen front I agree. The cabal however invaded our territory. Mars was ours and they came in and took it. So in the end, we attack them. They're after something, though I'm not sure what.

*applauds* That's exactly how I see it

Apply real world reality and it makes sense.
