  • Why are people supporting Year 3 so much? It featured one of the worst stories I've played and brought nothing new to the table besides the raid. The reason why people are so done with Destiny Year 3 is simple. Many loved Year 1, either because of the grind or the simplicity of it. I will give one thing over to Year 3 however... Year 3 got it right to introduce the "+1-5" light according to your level. However, Year 3 is soooo simple and easy to obtain these high light rewards that it's simply a joke to reach max light. Not like you need max light anyways, once you get 390 you won't notice a big change, which is why I enjoyed the simpler times of Level 30-34. 1 Level difference made you feel either weak or strong. Year 3 is simple and unrewarding... Well it's rewarding, but it doesn't feel deserved anymore. We finish the raid now, and simply complain that it took 45 minutes and we didn't get the gun we wanted. Year 1, we got Exotics once-twice a week, now, because Three of Coins, we can get them 3-5 times DAILY! So yes, I hate Year 3. I don't have a Year 3 Icebreaker, I don't have a reskinned version of Thunderlord, and frankly I don't plan on going for it anymore.
