Should the Gunsmith have more weapons for sale?
When I say, "more weapons", I mean that he should sell things like Omolon pulse rifles, Hakke machine guns, Suros hand cannons, etc.. You know, selling weapons that fill in the gaps of these companies.

Super sad I didn't get a Häkke scout or MG god that scout (high impact only though) would've been the closest thing to me actually saying yes you're definitely getting the honour of Being my A.1F19X-RYL V.2 but was let down also highly disappointed they didn't continue with the weapon foundry weapons at all it was just an awesome idea that died as fast as it came and the Häkke Aoife Rua-D is the one sniper I can actually use reliable (Tamar-D also but prefer the looks of the Aoife)

1 ReplyI'll be honest. I don't trust Banshee. The fact that I have to front him the money every time I want to order a weapon is sketchy. For all I know, the weapon only costs 500 glimmer and he's pocketing 2k. Then he makes me hold the receipt until the package arrives. Something just isn't right here. I voted maybe. I would like it if, and only if, Banshee would hold our order receipts for us. I don't want them taking up any more room in my weapon slots. Maybe if we could hold them in our inventory? That would be nice ad well.

2 RepliesI think the point is that those companies only focused on those weapon types. That said, apparently, none of the foundries build LMGs for some reason. Some new weapons from foundries would be nice though.

He should just sell one of every single weapon from all Foundries that roll differently every week. Gunsmith Rank would still determine how many you can buy, and being able to see the rolls without having to wait a week would be a solid trade off.* * 3 different rolls on up to 3 different weapons you get to choose out of 5 at 5GSR, that makes you wait a week to actually see it. Also at this point we have a community member who has designated himself to providing ALL Foundry Roll details with opinions, from the comments, for PvP and PVE on each and every one.

Yes. A lot more. He also needs a larger variety of test weapons. Seriously, this is Destiny year 3 and Bungie still haven't realised that more options and more content is better than the same old shit week after week.

2 RepliesWouldn't that dilute his loot pool even more? Bring back reforging! At least let me reforge my scopes. He's a gunsmith that doesn't do any gunsmithing. His description states there are few weapons he can't fix, but he doesn't fix anything.

Like say, Year 2 Iron Banner weapons? Armsday would become very exciting again. Bungie is not going to create more weapons, but there's a lot of Year 2 weapons just sitting there pretending to be extinct, when we know it's not. Give it to Banshee and Make Armsday Great Again!

The gunsmith has never been used as he was intended. I think you already know the answer especially knowing Tess selling things he should be selling. Bungie lack of effort on making the vendors in this game relavent going on 3 years is pure laziness. He should be selling a variety of things and not just weapons, and he shouldn't have been just used for the first couple weeks when a " new expansion " comes out. The test weapons suck and really serve no purpose other then ranking. Hmm, and what incentive does the Gunsmith have doing that. Getting a legendary that serves no purpose other then for new gamers? This company needs to get their act together and at least attempt to put some real effort into this game. Because as it stands right now they really suck and it's going on 3 freaking years.

Yeah they need to change his shit up! I've got the best rolls of all his weapons now. I dont even bother with test weapons or orders anymore.

I've been saying the same since day one. None of the other vendors should even be selling guns, ammo or ornaments for guns! Even exotic weapon bounties and quests should be through the Gunsmith. And why is he selling armour materials???

I only ever go to him for armor and weapon parts if I'm low. Otherwise, what good is he? A couple legendary marks per week that I can get much easier elsewhere?

1 ReplyI think the gunsmith should be more about trialing new perks. Gun brand doesn't matter, he should specialise in new perks to change up gameplay a bit.

He's a Gunsmith for god's sake, we should be able to have him fit sights and Mag size muzzle breaks etc on our weapons also, but no he just sells total dross.
