The system tries to match you by wins on your card, and by connection quality, but you are not going to get a team with similar wins every single time because there simply isn't enough people playing to find a team with matching wins for every team every time they search for one. Getting more wins on your card means you will also have less and less available teams with similar wins to be matched against, and they still have to find a game for everyone so you will occasionally get games where the teams have a completely different situation on their passages. The attempts to match us by wins also increases your chances of getting laggy games since instead of matching you by the possible connection available, they also try to find a team with a similar amount of wins.

So getting matched 4 times in a row with fresh cards back to back against flawless gamers ? What ever the system is it's bullshit

Same thing happened to our team fresh card loose to guys with 10-12 win streak then back to the reef for a new card start game come up against flawless guys and so on just rinse and repeat the whole -blam!-en day almost spent 200 coins because of getting paired with teams on flawless wins happens every weekend and don't get me started on the so called connection based matchmaking
So getting matched 4 times in a row with fresh cards back to back against flawless gamers ? What ever the system is it's bullshit
Shit happens, although i do agree that the matchmaking in general is terrible in this game, but for me it mostly has to do with constantly getting matched against players who are lagging and not taking damage. It's also possible that if you look at Destiny Trials Report and the win streak it shows for your enemies that they played those matches in previous passages and were actually on a fresh card, or did you lose every game and did the enemy achieve ultimate victory after those losses ?
