Change juggernaut to an overshield not an impenetrable barrier.
So my issue with juggernaut is it can take 1 blast of any amount of damage and it doesn't effect the titan. This annoys me because I have to use one golden gun shot just to take out the shield, and another for the titan. Same with shadowshot. The other day I was playing crucible when a juggernaut rushed me with a shotgun. Not surprised, I went screw it and fired shadowshot at him. Guess what happened. Juggernaut took the shadowshot blast, not supressing him and gave him enough time to fist of havoc and kill me. This would be solved if it was something similar to an overshield like flameshield so that he would be suppressed and couldn't smash me. I will probably have a video of it up in a little bit.
NOTE: The overshield should expire when the titan stops sprinting or it should timeout after being active for a certain amount of time.

1 ReplyYou forget that it's only active while running and protects a portion of the titan. Don't shoot at the shield. Aim for an exposed area, not that hard. I like the idea of running straight for things like a true juggernaut

A gg shot does about 650 damage. A celestial nighthawk shot does 3,900 damage. That is about enough damage to take out 20 guardians and a jug shield can take that???

1 ReplyLook I don't use the perk anyway but if you added this I probably would. I mean an overshield just for sprinting? Well come to think of it warlocks get health regeneration or an overshield just for hitting anything with their melee. So why the hell not?

9 RepliesThey need to just get rid of this skill and suffer the consequences for the good of the game. A one shot kill with no cooldown is absolutely stupid. I don't care if it's hard to do it is simply not intelligent to allow this in a game. I'm happy for the thematic but it baffles me no one saw this problem coming. And now they can't address it without pissing off a third of the fan base.

5 RepliesI think the best way to solve it would be to have the excess damage transfer to the titan. Say the shield has 100 hp and you do 200 damage, 100 of that takes out the shield and the rest is transferred to the titan doing 100 damage. Just an example. I think that would be more than fair. As a matter of fact that would be down right balanced.

2 RepliesBro. Titans really only have one subclass in pvp. Hammers are a joke and defender is, well, defender. Everyone cried about shoulder charge, which was ridiculous, only nerfed because people get embarrassed when they die from it, so now since it's pretty much useless, titans use jug. And jug is really no big deal.. I feel like I'm taking crazy pills. Quit your goddamn bitching.

Shoot next to your feet or closer to you so he runs towards it while you're backing off. He'll either stop running and thus no shield or run into it and no shield. Bad call on your part, and as you implied you may have forced their hand with the super. Treat people sprinting at you like a jet. Not always wise sure but run towards them. They'll have to stop turn around and pick back up again. Of course turn to face them just in case they are actually smart enough to not continue to chase should you succeed in that.

A Titan juggernaut shield also blocks a Hammer of Sol hit and grenades stickies, but we don't see those guys begging for Titan nerfs. Is it also fair that shade step disables grenade tracking? It is also fair that blink has invincibility frames that negate stickies? Golden Gun (along with Stormtrance) is one of the best PVP supers in the game. It instantly kills almost everything in the Damn crucible. And you want to nerf one of the few things that can counter/stop it. Stop crying and git gud.

Why don't you actually play your titan so you can understand just how non reliable the jug shield is. I hate using jug shield. I suck with it. Shoulder charge all day. By the time I'm within shotgun range, I get baited. So, that's what I do to everyone else. It's easy to counter. Play your titan. You'll see.

Here. Learn to adapt. Wait for the titan to get close. Then, Listen here, use that hunter shit and jump over him behind him. Or shadestep. Re not hard to outplay a juggernaut. Backpedal and shoot.

54 RepliesStop whining, you kids get that anoying as hell shadestep that saves your ass on multiple occasions, disable tracking, easily get out of the way, also my gg always stops jug, just run overpenatrating on your perk tree. My tether always kills a jug titan, just leave it alone!! Do you kids just want to nerf everything into the ground!! Holy shit. I miss when every class was viable. Now it seems all of them have been nerfed. Gunslinger, sunsinger, shoulder charge, nightstalker, bladedancer, titans (titan skating nerf (slightly) ) Sunbreaker, defender, uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Stop nerfing. It narrows diversity and is why we are in this shit meta currently.
