No, because then we get into real world trading issues that end up killing a lot of MMOs. I mean, look at Trials of Osiris. At least that is limited to a single aspect of the game. Imagine spawning into the Tower only to be bombarded by gold bots. Or seeing groups of farm bots in patrols camping spawn points. Or getting grouped with nothing but farm bots during strikes. And if that didn't become a problem, then you have scamming. "Hey, let's trade legendaries, except I'm going to switch my offer to a rare at the last second in order to steal your stuff."
