Yes is legal to make money... but not to charge for trials runs.. the grey line is that the overall streamers bring thousands of viewers which is a huge free advertising deal to bungie and a lot of them charge for trials runs .
Implementing bans could be a backlash.... at the end the problem is not who offer the services, is who pay for it...

Donations aren't illegal. That's the loophole.

Yep, which makes the real question: is it sustainable? If it drives away the people, Destiny 2 and the streamers will both take a hit in their supply of scrubs with a fistful of cash. The solution is to make popcorn and watch.

I don't think that there is anything illegal about charging for a run. frowned upon by bungie? maybe. illegal? no.

From the terms of use: "Your use of our data and content must be non-commercial, unless you obtain Bungie’s prior written permission. That means you don't own our stuff, so you can't sell it, use it to sell other things, or give other people permission to use it."

Edited by Moof Juice: 12/21/2016 3:25:22 AMyes, but the terms of use are just a contract and breach of contract isn't a crime, or even a tort. so like I said, not illegal.

You are right.
