No I don't want to turn Destiny into something. YOU want to make it a boots on the ground shooter. Im sorry, but this is not Halo.
Yes I said "abusing", because good players can use the movement for a massive advantage. However this is not a bad thing! Every shooter should have a skill gap to reward those who spend more time and try to improve!
I mean this game has so many mechanics that allow easy kills for noobs. Everything that makes a difference is welcome.
Use Luck in the Chamber and you have a 2 shot handcannon. Whats your point? Before TTK dropped we had a Meta with Thorn as a 2 Shot and 2 Shot slow rate of fire, high impact pulse rifles. And the game was still playable...
Im not saying they should make Thorn a 2 Shot again. But a Buff to some primary archetypes is necessary imo!
The Blink nerf had nothing to do with balance. Some people complained about it and Bungie just nerfed it to the ground. Because thats what bungie does. Someone complaines and they nerf it so hard, they could just take it out of the game. No ones gonna use it anyway.
If they nerf the other movement abilities that much, Blink wouldn't be viable again. Instead we just wouldn't have a viable vertical movement system at all. And that would be a terrible thing. Jumps in this game are more than just a way to get on higher map levels.
So don't change the movement. Buff the things that no one uses anymore, because they got nerfed into oblivion. It's time to make Auto Rifles, Red Death-type Pulse Rifles, etc viable again and to make sure we can punish bad players who just run straight at you with a shotgun.
