If that was the case people would buy it.
-
Don't be silly! It's one of the best games of the year, the reason people aren't buying it is because it wasn't marketed very well.
-
Fable and Mass Effect weren't marketed well. They're going to go down as some of the best games at least in the generation with huge sales.
-
They weren't sandwiched in between releases of other games of similar genre...
-
Infinite Warfare also sold poorly, battlefield 1 had a good launch although titanfall is way more like cod than battlefield
-
Infinite Warfare still made a killing. It's sales are substantially down from last year but the game is still a financial success on paper.
-
That means it sold poorly. When you're cod the only game you can compare sales to is the previous one
-
A financial success is when you make back all the money you spent on the project + profit.
-
And a good sales week is when your clone gets around or more money than the previous
-
That still doesn't really change that IW outsold TTF2. It had better marketing and a larger established fan base.
-
Good point. They're both pretty similar so I guess parents bought cod instead of titanfall
-
Yeah, CoD just has a bigger name, unfortunately. Soon enough it's fanbase will move to other shooters, including Titanfall, I predict.
