Need help from a Bungie employee!

Here is my problem. I pre ordered Rise of Iron back in August, and played through the expansion in September and October. I went to play again today and couldn't access the Rise of Iron content. My Xbox was telling me that I needed to purchase it again. I then went to an online chat with a Microsoft employee, he ended up telling me my original transaction never went through due to an error on their part so my purchase for Rise of Iron was canceled on November 27th. He told me to simply re-purchase it, which I did. The problem is that my pre order content, The Iron Gjallarhorn, Iron Gjallarwing, and Gjallar Horn are all still locked because the game no longer recognizes that I pre ordered. I talked to another Microsoft employee and he said the only person that could fix it is someone from Bungie. If there is any employee that could help reverse this I would be very grateful! My character still has the three items in my inventory and the Gjallar horn equipped, even though the game says I don't have access.
