I would be happiest with an honest attempt by Bungie to balance all weapons. Of course you can bring any gun you want into the crucible, and if your talented you may do well with them, but many guns are statistically worse than others. Many archetypes of weapons simply have worse time to kills, others have ridiculous stat allocation, while others could potentially be good but are rolled with hyper-situational/worthless perks like "surrounded".
-I think it would be good to rework what perks drop on what guns, and work to make every gun a competitive crucible option if it has a good roll.
- Allow multiple rolls to be effective, for example a range focused hand cannon and stability focused hand cannon can both be effective.
-Shotguns should be balanced within the Meta (which hopefully will be diverse). Preferably they are left in the same or similar place, but snipers, Fusion Rifles, and primaries are brought to a place where they are equally as competitive and deadly. (Personally I think snipers are fine).
-Hand cannon bloom and hit registration feels ridiculous. I
-it would be nice if aim assist/hit registry was not based on the range stat. Instead I would like to see that there was a less forgiving damage falloff, and many different layers of it. Pulse rifles with low range should on be truly effective at low range. If a handcannon or auto rifle has greater range, it should show in an actual gunfight. A primary with an intense range should be able to "map" people, because they chose range over stability.
-Stormcaller melee should be rebalanced as well as the damage output vs armor vs duration of Storm trance. I'm not saying all should be nerfed, but something to bring down the number of 5+ kills you see consistently in the crucible.
Anyways just my opinions.
