There's always two sides to a story. To us they're evil but to them we're evil. It's when you lose that the story goes on to paint you as the evil entity that must be vanquished.

  • Nah this game makes it pretty clear that it's darkness vs light

  • Not that simple. We are good to us and bad to them, but they are good to them and bad to us. Light is no better than the darkness, it left the eliksni to die. Millions perished. Why? So the traveler couple escape and live on. It is selfish, just like all beings. No holy saint. There is no difference between the deep and the sky, just your perception.

  • There's actually a massive difference. The Sky wants all life to exist in a peaceful and Propertius utopia. The Deep wants to extinguish it all. The Sky is willing to sacrifice for the greater good, because if it loses all life in exist neck is doomed.
