Just another load of shit, why do you need tests and feedback and all that other shite you mention to be able to know that a matadaor with a full set of range perks would be ridiculous? It is so -blam!-ing obvious, to the point it should never have even made it into the game. Especially considering the last time the shotgun meta was about.

Edited by TheCyo: 12/15/2016 12:35:25 PMYou really think, if we remove M64 from the game including all range finder perks, this would make much of a difference? So you think, that good shotgunners that close the gap to 8m, would not be able to close to 6? When I play Hunter I use my Curtain Call with kneepads and not my Matador, because of the additional mobility. It does not make a difference.

Then where did you read that I've a preference either way? Just wanted to give you some brain fodder.

If you honestly believe it makes no difference I don't see why you'd post. Maybe that 2m increases your chances of being killed.

They are saying that your argument makes no valid point. If you wanted shotguns to have little or no range boosts, it wouldn't make a difference. Base stats alone are enough to make a shotgun useable. What we should be doing is taking some flinch off of sniper rifles, add a little bit more stability to sidearms, and maybe add a teeny bit of bloom to some fusion archetypes. (This is just my opinion) Killing shotguns won't help the meta. Bringing the other special weapons up to the bar would allow for some variety in special weapon use. Primary weapons are a whole 'nother post, man :)

Seems to me he protests too much. If rangefinder truly makes no difference to him why even mention it?
-
If they make no difference, why argue for their removal?
-
I'm saying it does make a difference, are you even reading the posts?

Rangefinder is 5% increase on the base range. Honestly it's a very overrated perk and something like crowd control would be much better.
-
Check my lock's equipped shotgun. 3x increased range perks. It's daft.

There are people running shotguns with multiple range perks on them.
