This is what worries me. So many people here giving consistent feedback, we want a weapons patch sooner-than-later, shotguns are in a decent place, autos need a buff, clever-meta needs adjusting... however balance-team says "We hear you shotguns need adjustment?!"...
It seems they are in FACT not hearing us!
Some of this I'm sure is just poor communication, and 50% of it is we don't want to wait longer it been MONTHS of this consistent feedback. It not like this consensus was reach in an hour of this post. Many of these request have been request for months now.
YOUR MOVING TO SLOW WEAPONS BALANCE TEAM!
That's my and many peoples biggest complaint is the time frame of no weapons update while we have time off for the holidays to play...
Get us a weapon balance ASAP pretty please with a cherry on top.
The communication issue... we all appreciate it and it can continue to improve as it's more than just sharing a random address here or there... it's also about asking for feedback and sharing data, or sharing INSIGHT, like when our internal team uses the weapon like this it operates fine.... help us understand more with more shared back and forth.
Thanks for listening.

Disagree. Last year, a weapons patch dropped alongside SRL at the start of December. Nerfing Nirwen's Mercy and similar pulse rifles into the ground (8% base damage reduction) and giving us the "special weapons meta" that we're still trying to find our way out of. The Sandbox team could have just as easily Nerfed the Grasp of Malok-class sideways....offered up an other pointless nerf of shotguns (again)...and called it a year. But they didnt'. Everything I'm hearing from the Sandbox team---through Cozmo---is VERY encouraging. Because it seems to indicate that the Sandbox team realizes that it can't just keep nerfing everything...and that the Crucible's balance problems can't be addressed by just simply BREAKING whatever happens to be the dominant weapon at the time. It finally seems that they are realizing that they can't get this game to play like Halo...and they're taking the time to see what the game will play like with primary weapons that kill at a speed proportional to the speed at which play moves in this game. That kind of MAJOR weapon system overhaul will dramatically change how the Crucible plays...and will take time and a LOT of work to get right. This meta is not so oppressive that we can't wait a month or two to let Bungie GET THIS RIGHT, if they are indeed planning on major buffs to the game's primary weapons.

Edited by Xinkwi-Xkuk: 12/15/2016 3:56:20 AMI hope your right. Because the update post I don't see how it alludes to what you said, how your reading that into their update...? Well as I said I hope your right. However I was not suggesting to not take the time to do it right. But they have had months and months to address weapon balance since the last update, Bungie says they are trying to fix content droughts... well in-effect we are in a content drought for crucible. Nothing new to learn or explore. Boring.
