I do.
If you watch play of Halo 5...and the current Crucible the tempo of gunplay and the TTK look ***disturbingly** similar....and the Bungie's Sandbox team spend most of last year DELIBERATELY trying to SLOW the pace of play and prolong the TTK.
If you listen to the interviews that Sage Merrill and Jon Weisznewski gave to Planet Destiny late last winter it is clear that their goal was to make the Crucible play like Halo. Where TTK is long. Primary weapons are weak, and play is centered around teams and team shooting.
The problem is that this is NOT compatible with the way the game is designed. Halo can get away with this because it limits what weapons you have access to, so they can force you to fight with an inefficient primary, simply because you have no other option.
But in Destiny, you get to choose what weapons you bring in...and WHEN you choose to fight with them. So people are naturally going to choose the most efficient (fastest-killing) weapon for the situation they find themselves in...and short of removing ammo from the game....there is no way to force people to fight with inefficient alternatives.
Bungie tried that last year with trying to remove special ammo from Trials....and all it did was foster a host of ways of either working around that special ammo deprivation. ...and if people couldn't work around it, they just SAT THERE, and didn't start play until the ammo was available.
The bottom line is that there is no way to make this game play and feel like Halo, because people choose their weapons....and move too fast. So this game is GOING to have a fast TTK.
The only question is whether you want it enforced by multi-shot weapons....or by OHK weapons.
