The perk itself may not have changed but exotics have been added to the game increasing Titans speed/ mobility. The combination of Jolder's artifact and exotics designed to increase the speed of titans in general makes Jug Shield overpowered. In other words things were added to the game to increase the effectiveness of the perk therefore it is no longer balanced.
The changes I suggested are intended to balance the perk.
- You gain increased damage resistance at the expense of movement speed.
- In addition to stopping players from abusing the Jolder artifact to essentially generate another jug shield immediately after losing one.
Actually, I said that Shoulder Charge and Jug shield should have been addressed prior to ROI releasing. It was very obvious that shotguns were going to overrun the Crucible and that shotguns combined with Jug shield was going to be a problem. However, your point is still irrelevant the perk is unbalanced and should be addressed, regardless if you feel the meta is changing. As I told you earlier Cozmo asked for feedback and I provided some including a suggestion as to how I would change it, we'll see what the dev team decides to do with the information. There is literally nothing for us to discuss about this matter.
