Hey man, read what you said so I'll go into further detail for you. I don't like it, if you do keep having fun I don't want you to be bored. I'm saying that I don't like the idea of racing sparrows around while being shot at by multiple enemies. Granted it adds to the challenge and I love me a challenge. Sometimes I wish I could jump off, without spontaneous explosions, and fight these guys shooting at me. The things they drop in to shoot at us makes the battle look like way more fun than racing sparrows.
Though they've never said, I've always viewed SRL as some sort of televised event that the City can watch, and perhaps those in the Reef. It's something to take everyone's (non-guardian) mind off the impending doom for a short while. It instills a sense of hope with its excitement.
Still, I wish Bungie would do a bit more lore on it in that sense, because if it were meant to be a morale booster for the city it would be much more acceptable lore-wise
I miss read slightly (sorry for that).
I do agree to a certain extent that there are some pretty [i]radical[/i] battles happening and it would be cool to join in.
Being 100% against it is a little [i]extreme[/i]
