10 RepliesHey there, In Destiny, there are 2 ways Bungie addresses Users that show misconduct. This is through Account Bans and Restrictions. Account Restrictions are temporary, while Bans are permanent. Bungie does not discuss or dispute either of them. If you're questioning a Account Ban or Restriction, the link below could be the answer as to why you were banned or restricted. Please keep in mind that Poor or Unstable Internet Connection does qualify for a Restriction or even Ban in serious instances. Please note that action will not be taken against an account based off reports alone. Bungie's security response team obtains proof of misdeeds. https://mobile.twitter.com/DeeJ_BNG/status/738841560738070529 All relevant information can be found here: https://www.bungie.net/7_Destiny-Account-Restrictions-and-Banning-Policies/en/Help/Article/11929 Hope this helps! 3 RepliesI'm just gonna say this: recently we started having terrible packet loss, signal drops, etc. We pay for the highest speeds we can get here. Like many, I always assumed that was good enough. However, I found out last week that the problem was in fact on my end. I haven't received any restrictions/bans, but I knew that if I continued it would likely happen. We had our ISP come out, spend hours searching for the problem and so on. What we discovered was that our home was producing noise and voltage that fed back up the cable. It was not the ISP's fault. 60 down/5 up should be sufficient, but if there's noise traveling back up the line, it's going to create issues. Hurricane Matthew took down a large tree that fell on our lines. We didn't know at the time, but it affected one of the circuits, and we essentially lost any ground to the receptacles our Xbone, cable, etc were using. That voltage was grounding itself out through the cable. We corrected the problem and now have our trusty signal back. All of this was to say that there may be an underlying problem on your end affecting the signal that your ISP neither knows about nor can even correct. Just a thought...

7 RepliesI'm with You. Just received my permanent ban. Thanks Bungie. I hear you loud and clear. You don't want my money anymore...got it.

7 RepliesLook. Just because you pay $80+ a month for internet doesn't automatically mean you won't have problems. Did you even try and figure out how your connection might be at fault? Or did you automatically just say "Nah can't be me, Gotta be Bungie!"?

Up/Down speeds are only a very small part of it...your connection is crap, fix it.

7 Repliessame here. Never, ever, ever cheated... Beta player. Got the best Internet in my area. Spent $500 + on game dlc etc.. For kiddos, ordered from bungie store for Xmas... And I got banned/restricted. Destiny is the only game I have connection issues with.... So now I'm looking at a permanent ban unless bungie sets up servers next door to my area. It's not fair I get half of the game when I paid full price.
