Before you click no changes, I am planning on starting a vote for each exotic over this week. Why? Its because right now in year 3 exotics feel weak and legendarys feel stronger. I will be going over the exotics that do need buffs, but ones that don't.
For last word i think the only best way to make it better is for bungie to bring back its year 1 self. Why? Because this weapon is made for hip firing and close range. Personally i feel i have to aim down sights more then hip fire. In year 1 all i ever did was hip fire and it was fun. It had less recoil when hip firing and did a little more damage. The reason why it should be OP again is because its exotic and it loses to most hand cannons in the crucible that are legendary.

Oh lord not back to year one ridiculousness, that 2 shot hip fire was stupid OP. However, i agree that at least a small buff is in order. Maybe at least make damage from the hip the same as ADS? Or even just a reload speed increase. Because while yes, it is still deadly in the right hands, it still cant compete with a palindrome or luna. And while YES, I UNDERSTAND THERE IS A RANGE DIFFERENCE, even at close range you cant do piss. Not to mention if youre in the ideal kill range for TLW, youre gonna just get shredded by every players god- roll matador. It has 8 low impact bullets for -blam!-s sake, AND its supposed to be an "exotic". i mean common, a little somethin to make it worth using over a Luna/matador would be nice

please don't poll the forum about misinformation like this. Its toxic. TLW is possibly the strongest gun in the game, with the shortest time to kill while being fully automatic. You don't want to have to aim your gun? that's not a reason to make this the only usable gun in the game. They will NOT buff this gun. The fact that 30% more people want this gun buffed then kept the same is honestly, terrifying who are you people and why are you trolling so hard?

it is an ads weapon but hip fire can still be utilized having said that it is atm a freaking monster but apparently many people want it buffed lolol

1 ReplyI don't think it should go back to year 1. What they should do is get rid of its ghost bullets and give it a little more range and more precision damage on headshots and hip fire, but bungie doesn't care.

Hip-fire should be just as viable, if not more, than ADS. If Bungie ever decides to do something about the weird accuracy cone (ghost bullets), TLW might be good again.
