These known issues take forever to get fixed, I haven't got my Student of History achievement and getting it is starting to look grim. can't they just implement a fix where players are able to extinguish the fire or reset it completely.

They haven't patched the game since Nov. 8th. I'm willing to bet it will be in the next patch. Shouldn't be to hard to fix. Just link it to everyone who has it completed in the progress book.
